As i have mentioned before, I am a LTH with 900,000 shares.
This is approx £10 million mcap. A sensible CEO with massive resource. If you are new here, i suggest you read all the RNS from the last few years and listen to all his lengthy podcasts. Then judge him on what he has done based on what he has said.
AIM is full of dodgy CEOs. Its better to invest in a good resource but also with a trustworthy CEO.
I will continue to hold. I am expecting//hoping for min 12p this year. A rerate will come. need patience. Not ramping just saying it how i see it.

just for the record, I purchased 100k shares yesterday at 4.8p ish. Time will tell if it was a silly move, but the rationale was:

£11million mcap
£4 million in bank
it has to be worth more than that even with all this going on?
they just need to control the cash burn.

No one know what is going on in the background. If there is complexity that Brad is sincerely working through, then he only needs to do one thing to reassure. Purchase a number of shares that indicate his belief.

so many posters who have never made any previous comments about OMI (and probably know little about OMI) have decided to join in just to poke a dagger.
Money in bank, resource is still there. we are still in a better position. If newmont et all do decide to walk, let them. Bhargav - i recall you saying quite some time ago, you would not be averse to this idea. not sure whether you feel the same now?

I am expecting a steep upward rerate very soon.

The only guarantee is that this will hit atleast 16p one day and that is because Brad bought at 16p. He doesn't have much money and he would have thought long and hard before purchasing. He would not risk losing any money.

I know a few years ago they had single digits each but they may hold them through another body.

But do read the rns and listen to the interviews from the last few years. Then decide yourself whether they have kept to timelines and promises.

I have 800000 shares and still adding so i am v bullish. I invest because i believe in the quality of the resource, and the board.
In terms of timelines - I don't think there will be funding JV until we get the results back from China but i could be wrong. I think that we will get a partner by the summer. It may not be "the" ideal partner but it will be someone or some funding to get the project going. i guess it also depends on the global macro events.
We could get news sooner. i just dont know. but i am happy to wait but only when i have trust in the management.
