There seems to be a view that as HRNet own near 30% of STAF they consider STAF as an associate member of the HRNet Group. It would make sense for that to become more formalised if the synergies are there. The presentation seemed to suggest that in times like these were there is massive government stimulus to get people back to work that STAF will be well positioned for a lot of that stimulus funding to come there way..... could be exciting times later this year as we push to get the country back to work. B

Tollbar, the ARR of £34M is a measure of their committed revenue for 2021, meaning if they never won a single new contract at all that would be the likely revenue. They have over £84M of potential new contracts in their pipeline and a 3 month pilot which concluded this week with a major bank. They have refused to give an outlook for how much of that £84M is likely to be converted and have stated they have no historical metric in which to guess. They also state that it takes 6-8 months to convert.... so it all comes down to how much of that pipeline we think will get added to the £34M... anything over £16M is growth...... I therefore understand why the market wishes to wait..... We hopefully should have a pretty good idea in the March update and that is likely to drive direction from this 73-83 range we have been stuck in since Dec.....Very frustrating, but equally if it all goes well, this is likely to pass a quid very quickly. B

Agreed. Looking back it seems STAF have had a pretty torrid couple of years.... bruised from minimum wage provisions [even a suspension to sort out the books!] and Brexit forcing companies to move from temps to perms to de risk uncertainty. Add in a placing at a £1 a few years back to cut debt, and a change of CEO, seems to have now stabilised the business. still has a low number of shares in circ, so all looks good to capitalise when the economy bounces back hopefully later in the year....and I too would settle for a quid right now.......B

I note from the charts that some 2/3 years ago STAF was trading at the £10 mark... a lot must have happened to get to this point, does anyone have a potted history of where those disappointments have come from.....B

Bigsmoke, I had an email from the CEO [Steve] confirming that he was surprised there had been no TR1s after the massive 22M volume on the 27th Nov... followed by a further 6M the day after..... He asked the Nomad to investigate and when that investigation showed no changes, he has asked for a copy of the share register.... I have had no further updates....... B

The share register seems to state 85% of the shares are held by IIs..... not many in free float, so this moves quickly one presumes. B

13Martyn... I think now is a good time to tuck these away. Once the economy gets back to a new normal, recruitment will once again pick up. Staf seem well placed to take advantage.. thought I had missed out here when it jumped in to the 70s... 50s seems a good base to rebuild. I understand the concern with maybe STAF coming to the market cap in hand, but hopefully that will be avoided. B

not sure there is anything to turn round. A big question for me is having spent all that money on an acquisition [mostly through dilution at £4 per share to raise £50M, so effectively more than current mc of LOOP ], have they got anything for it in terms of revenues/profits/new business... seems to not mention the benefits/synergies of that deal anymore. B

watching this one..... might have a punt if it goes back in the 20s..... no one rally knows why it went from 10 - 60, and it seems to have gone from 60 - 33 without so much as a grump...... weird one this. B

no your not missing anything Integrale, however we are missing a rise back to a quid. The March update is very much the catalyst for getting out of the 72/79 channel....... without a good update, this will remain a niche product with very little interest. B

that is true monica, I perhaps subconsciously saw the rise from 73p to 79p as gushing steam, in hindsight it was just a bit of condensation..........B
