lol keep them coming.
Yep. Well its looking strong at the moment, with this momentum its looking like to reach 50-60p by Dec update
that price that must not be mentioned. for me that price is £1-£1.50 ;) the price you guys are after is only a stepping stone
.. the breakout. if it hasnt gone on the pix and related divestments, then who knows when it will go. the only logical date where we can expect a push past 50p is dec 17th onwards. shame really. one would have hoped it was at 60p before that.
Dont fret. The stores are going to be doing well. The SP on the other hand...
Seems like there is no point discussing anything on this bb now. all the bad has gone, just need to carry on and bring in tho good results each quarter. Sp will eventually react. £1.50 by this time next yr
This should be easily 70p+ now. massively undervalued. when it takes off. its going to TAKE OFF
Dixons Retail The sale of PIXmania by Dixons Retail (LSE: DXNS) is going according to plan, and the firm announced today that the agreement has now been signed after the required employee consultations were concluded. The buyer is German-listed mutares AG, and the head of murates France told us "I am very pleased that we are now able to proceed with this transaction following positive discussions with employee representatives". Dixons shares gained 0.4p (1%) to 47.4p, and are now up nearly 150% over the past 12 months after one of the most impressive high street turnarounds in recent years. The shares are on a P/E of 20 based on this year's forecasts, but we are expecting a 60% rise in earnings, and 2015 predictions drop the P/E to 15.
Definition of 'Accretive' The process of accretion, which is the growth or increase by gradual addition, in finance and general nomenclature. An acquisition is considered accretive if it adds to earnings per share. Investopedia Says Investopedia explains 'Accretive' In corporate finance, accretive acquisitions of assets or businesses will add more value than the cost of the acquisition, either immediately or over time. In fixed-income investments, the term refers to the increase in value attributable to interest accrued but not paid (discounted bonds, for example, earn interest through accretion until maturity).
But the market doesn't give a ****
Is it wise to wait and buy on another dip? (most likely) ---------- Dip came a lot sooner than imagined! :)
It will be interesting to know what price you can get back in at. Is it wise to wait and buy on another dip? (most likely) Or is the breakout that has been long prophesied with a boost into a new trading range and no return to the 40ps (probably not) :)
Ello Ello... So what going in here then?
Your information regarding shorters is incorrect. Marble Arch are not a new shorter, they are an exisiting shorter who opened a short in november 2012 at 2.05%, and have been downgrading their short position until a few days ago it now stands at 0.99%.
FUTILE

' ... As a result, analysts have begun to lift their outlooks for corporate earnings. After raising their forecast for UK economic growth by 1.4 percentage points to 2.1 per cent in 2014, Citi’s strategists upgraded UK stocks to overweight last week. The more buoyant prospects for spending have lifted the FTSE General Retailers index to its highest level since May 2007. Companies such as electronics chain Dixons, which has added almost two-thirds to its market capitalisation this year, and clothes retailer Next, up 39 per cent, are leading the rally. Online grocer Ocado has soared. '
' Dixons' announcement of the disposal of loss-making online unit PIXmania and Electroworld operations in Turkey resulted in us placing the group's long-term IDR of 'B' on Rating Watch Positive. Completion of the disposal has the potential to result in a one-notch upgrade as it means the credit profile will be driven predominantly by the core UK and Nordic operations. '
I completely agree about your point that broker upgrades not being used as a gude. I am not saying brokers are correct. But whenever a host of big name brokers upgrade the share price follows the majority of the time. Whether the upgrade is correct or not is a different matter. This should be re-rating as we speak to above 50p. Im all for patience, I have been in and out of this since 12p levels, but it has been hanging about in the 40s for too long, especially with pix news out. it should have rached to above 50p. I still am not selling until it reaches a £1 atleast, but my aim was 70p by Xmas, and with 3 months to go we are over 40% away from that target
