I thought it was only 11800 boepd?
think I know my favourite of the two opinions! but certainly agree with steptoes, hope gus will be right, for me it's a matter of time before this recovers or there's some sort of takeover spec, but I don't know if I'm willing to take anymore of a hit than around £1
obviously a yes vote doesn't directly affect smdr, but if the market was to take a heavy hit could we see sub 100?
how realistic is it that there could be another takeover bid soon, just can't see where the next price rise will come from
downgrade to 125 from 185, oh well
that chrisoil still trying to say it's a good new rns, whether good or bad, the price is still going down. That will be it for me, think I will look for around a 110p get out. gla
how can there be 109 trades by half 1 and then no trades for the past hour, is it just a coincidence or is there a reason?
Bloke who wrote that positive article couple of weeks ago about smdr being worth £2-£2.50, just posted drilling results due next week, reckons rumour is it's going well. GLA
not yet, although it would seem it's going to be end of the year
seems to be a resistance point, wouldn't be too downbeat about the price as I can't really see this going any lower than a quid, and then you've still got the 11p dividend
anyone know when results are due?
I sold up here at £3.47 a couple of months ago, but am thinking about getting back in just in time for the results. What is everyone expecting, it's been a great World Cup but FOBT restrictions may have had an affect. Results back in February gave this a good boost up to £4, but since then it's been £3.20 and £3.50. Cheers
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/sharewatch/market-report-from-oil-to-tech-deal-fever-is-gripping-the-city-9624701.html - Yesterday traders heard that Indonesian oil giant Pertamina is looking at Salamander Energy, the Asian operator that this week sold a 40 per cent stake in its Great Bualuang field in the Gulf of Thailand. Salamander failed to find a buyer after putting itself on the block in May. But word is that the asset sale is tempting Pertamina to take a second look. Salamander climbed 1.5p to 115.5p. - hopefully not just rumours
In the long term the SONA deal is probably good, but short term investors hoping for a big deal know it's not happening now. Hopefully a bit of stability now leading up to any news on nk2.
when will it stop
thanks for informing. A quid looks most likely now unfrotunately.
thanks, and fingers crossed for that, although haven't got my hopes up.
not good news then, someone on iii said that it will be paid when the deal is finalised at the end of q4, wobbs could be right but otherwise don't know what the answer is
when do we receive the 11p?
so, approx 11p per share will be paid for the deal, so effectively the share price is mid 130s at this time. The fall could be due to loss of hope that there could be a takeover deal.
