Sadly many of us here have heard the same old tired "sweet-spot" promises mentioned too many times in the past already... and Anguish STILL have NOTHING... DIDDLY SQUAT... ZERO to show for it...

So long as Tidswell continues playing puppeteer with Lord Lucan... it's far safer to believe that fairies live at the bottom of your garden than "anything" profitable will EVER emerge here IMHO.

I stand by "all" my earlier quotes... but in "Anguish's" specific case - I have long-since written off my investment here. Like others... I'm stuck until the bitter end.

In the meantime, I will be watching & quite happy to challenge any blatant hogwash from cheerleaders of the BOD or RiverFort YA with simple truths.

Here's a simple truth for you:

Who should potential new Anguish investor's trust?

1) Someone who has "unfortunately" been invested here for a very long time and is knowledgeable of the BOD's unbroken 100% record of failure?
or:
2) A one day old newbie poster - who "amazingly" wants to airbrush the past and convince us that a leopard CAN change it's spots?

I will not respond directly to Boris's posts - since I am optimistic that admin will remove them all anyway in the fullness of time - together with "HIM" hopefully - if he insists on being disruptive / abusive towards others here.

Yes... Crocqman... and with that in mind, we need to ask ourselves one very important question:

Where is the money going to come from - in the meantime - to keep Anguish afloat - given that RiverFort YA still need to dump their millions from the last placing and liquidity and investor trust are at an all time low?

Q4 probably before "anything" will be confirmed - one way or the other - on Saltfleetby - and I imagine the same for Balcombe - given the planning process & organisational expertise required for both!

In the meantime... more delay, disaster and dilution... after all, it's what Anguish Energy do best!

Sadly the two examples you have just highlighted add NOTHING to share value. What we need is confirmation of Tidswell's loan repayment (as PROMISED) and DELIVERY on something tangible that can begin to rebuild trampled confidence here!

We started 2019 at OVER 10p per share... we start 2020 at UNDER 1p per share...

so... as much as I would love to post a positive slant... I'll be honest: I'm seriously struggling!

Saltfleetby was sold to us for a £1 for a good reason IMHO... i.e: time consuming & costly to get full approval and fully operational and likely to prove only marginally profitable if gas prices stay this low :-(

Anyone know if Anguish finally managed to keep one of their promises and force Tidswell to pay back his LONG outstanding loan to the company? The promise (by Lucan) was by year end as I recall?

I hardly call using the word "anguish" emotionally charged! As for rationality... that's precisely what I am applying to the investment / re-investment case here... and by any rational measure:

The managers of this company have proven themselves to be repeatedly inept and downright untrustworthy.

Fingers crossed that having wiped 95% off the share value this year that those in charge FINALLY get the message.If they still haven't got it... then 2020 will be yet another bumpy ride - probably with a slippery slope waiting at the end!

Anyone in the City (with the right connections) can make a case for investment, Ocelot... just as anyone in the private sector (with modest ability) can get funding to start their own business...

"Success" is not measured by getting the funding... but by reaching the goals you set out to achieve....

and as we all know: Anguish Energy have Failed at every hurdle so far (FACT).

Give us a break. Sounds like Lucan & RiverFort appointed two new share sales cheerleaders.

There's negativity on the board for a very good reason... and plenty of FACTS out there to back this up.

You should learn to trust "your own" gut, Ocelot... but if it's telling you to trust folk that have repeatedly failed and lied to you in the past... then maybe you should trust "mine" instead!

LTH's cannot do anything really but wait and see. Most are so far underwater there's no point in selling.

Gut instinct tells me that Saltfleetby is just too good to be true (A major profitable international company sells us Saltfleetby for £1 and then throws in a couple of million to cover abandonment costs as a sweetener... Now... just repeat that again slowly to yourself!

Given Tidswell's past history and operational success rate who do you trust:

1) Your gut?

2) The "directors" of this company?
