Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What's your opinion on the timescale fuller? The 6 month exclusivity ties in with the start of rainy season. Do you think this was a move by nick to allow us to find more minerals to up the price with AA or possibly to just put us on the radar to everyone once our drilling season ends? I do find it less than coincidental that the exclusivity will end as our season does? Should we find a decent few holes this would be sold earlier than Christmas? I actually take notice of what you write whether I agree or disagree it comes from a place of logic. Would like to hear your thoughts!
Yes it does bring us back to 3p which like you've said has been in support in the past. Thank you for bringing something to the conversation other than £500 PER SHARE MARKET CAP OF 10 BILLION WHEN THE MARKET OPENS ON SUNDAY POW.
You've been around AIM before right? We will be lucky to be at 3.5 by the end of the week. Far more likely that what you're seeing now is what it will stick at, maybe even a slight retraction. A bit of realism guys.. this news gives us nothing in the bank, nor does it increase our current asset value. What it does give us is a deadline and a potential further discussion with AA if/when we find more copper. It also possibly puts us on the radar of other majors. We've got nothing in the bank till either a deal is on the table or we find more copper. This is just a stepping stone a good one but relax.
I read it as basically anglo like what they see but they haven't seen enough. A 6 month exclusivity agreement would take us to the start of the rainy season, which by then hopefully we have drilled our approximately 48 holes. Seems a little bit odd that the exclusivity would take us to that date considering if we find a lot more copper other majors may become interested and increasingly involved?? Good for us a bit odd from anglo? Might have been a cracking play by nick.
Guys I have an average of 16p so like many would like to see this rise! Before you all rush in a top up please remember all we have is a HOT nothing concrete, nor should you forget about what the hype lead to last time. I'm not saying don't top up, I'm not saying don't get excited, I'm not saying this time isn't different. I read some really sad stories on here shortly after JP left don't rush in and risk making the same mistakes again. Chill out for a minute and think before hitting that buy button. To contradict all of that i have been topping up regularly ;)
I agree we are much further as a company than we was. However the SP remains in the doldrums, a conservative estimate would suggest we should be at about 4.2. I've just witnessed very minimal uplift on good news and a lot of drift between. I don't expect this trend to break until we have a full season of drilling ahead of us on what looks like a very promising prospect. Does anyone have any knowledge on the plant? From the last CC I'm assuming we will just put the acreage from kalaba through it and not fiddle with the good stuff? I'm assuming this will happen during rainy season?
Hello Westie. It's just an opinion based on previous observations. I think Nick is doing an excellent job(at least quicker and more methoidical than VC did). I'm using these lows to top. I've been reading here for a while without posting I think most makes good points.. am not trying to rattle anyone cage! Please relax Graham, I'm not China!
Unlike China I like this company and expect good things. Realistically juding the SP on how its moving when we are awaiting news can you see it remaining strong during the rainy season?
Unlike China I hold shares.
Nothing more pathetic than a bunch of middle aged men snarling and offering to fight each other. Do you guys ever take a look at yourself in the mirror? JTF's constant spam can be annoying but at least he has a bit of dignity and humor.
Any raise in SP will be short lived. Rainy season is coming which will put a halt on things the only news to look forward to during the rains is dilution/raise. Atleast 8 months before the SP will get a decent foothold.
