RE: Matthew Moulding23 Jan 2025 10:10
This is my post from December 30th. Honestly I really did want to be proved wrong, I wanted the demerger to be a fresh start and an opportunity for the shares to start to re-rate but as I said on a post earlier today, history has a habit of repeating itself, especially when the parties concerned befitted the first time around.

Matty I have been a shareholder for long enough to know that Remainco shares won't see a £1.00 again so forget £1.50.
Moulding has signalled his intent to take it back for as little as possible and having done this with ease regarding Ingenuity why would he not attempt to do it again ? I think Jan's results will see the start of another phase of share price reduction and even though in theory the business becomes somewhat more attractive as the share price reduces the fact remains that any prospective buyer has to deal with Moulding and my gut feel is this - he has deliberately fostered a reputation for being impossible to deal with to deter bidders.
Its a sad, sorry state of affairs and I wish I could see a way for the SP to recover but when the companies CEO and close mates believe they can make more money by buying it back on the cheap a significant SP recovery is highly unlikely to happen."
