I am convinced MM has a plan and that discussions are well advanced behind the scenes. This loveless marriage with the LSE isn't in any shareholder's interest - we are all aligned on that. THG was "trapped" in the marriage last year, but with the restructuring now done, FCF+ and M&A markets opening up and with inflation/rates waning, deals can get done. Divorce is inevitable in some shape or form and investors need to hold their nerve if they want to see value. In the meantime, unless PI's can stop panicking its going to be a bumpy ride until an RNS drops.

Licker, we all know the SP performance has been shocking post float. MM has made mistakes. No debate on either. I think 101's point was that the doom and gloom that engulfed this board was a bit over the top for a 2.75p down day, and that he believes those with the patience to hold/add will see strong returns from here soon enough. Sweating over small daily price movements is a bit pointless. Certainly that's my view.

Well said 101. Such hysteria on daily movements, no wonder IR don’t engage with retail investors. The are a number of catalysts that can propel this share price up, people just need to have some conviction in why they are invested.

Patience and timing is key in this game: MM had very limited options last year due to macro, whey prices etc other than execute the restructure and focus on restoring margins. 2024 should be a very different year

Each to their own wild tiger, I’m happy to be on the other side of your trade. I’m invested medium term for some big moves to the upside - improving macro, Ingenuity wins and/or capital event(s). Oh and if MM can’t deliver on any of that which I believe he will, the break up value is more than the current share price.

US PE queuing up for UK public to private’s given the LSE discount. THG at an even heavier discount and more attractive set of assets given is global market places. Only a matter of time before all or parts of THG seriously in play, likely already the case.

Yawn the FUD is back on a minor drop.

Question for the troops. If an RNS drops with a single Whale landed for Ingenuity, proof of concept so to speak, What is a share then worth?

I'm expecting demand for THG products to stay strong in spite of overall macro - it's not like beauty and nutrition are discretionary spend. The shock for THG was more input inflation, of which whey prices more than doubling was a real hammer blow - but now back at long term historical averages, and 4% inflation on beauty much easier to manage/pass through than 10%. The softening of top line growth last year look more about the market not currently being prepared to "fund" new customer acquisition in emerging markets, growth in more mature markets ie UK was still pretty good.

Thanks carefree, interesting read, and softbank have certainly made some big bets in this space. Lots of ridiculing of MM of MM over the past 2 years in the face of a generational inflationary shock. Yet he has a track record of being able to attract big chunks of private capital to his vision time and time again, at valuations multiples of where SP is today....I fancy him to do it again...

Whilst low margin, I see the sense in own logistics to control customer service outcomes - key is the automation to drive both efficiency and accuracy. THG seems to be doing that well now. I see no obvious reason why THG can't be a winner with its full service offering, especially in sectors where it has deep expertise in growing brands ie Health/Nutrition and Beauty..... and those sectors work so well for D2C because no returns

Does anyone have any info on who Ingenuity's direct competitors are, with the capability to offer full D2C service (Marketing/Ecomm/Fulfilment), on a global basis? I know others do bits of that well (ie Shopify), but the full outsourced service is a pretty compelling pitch to brands looking to get a foothold in new international markets. And as we know barriers to entry are high due to enormous capex.....

Nice couple of wins in ‘24 for Ingenuity, H&B and now this…More of the same please Vivek and the market will have to take notice. I like the look of the Alistair Crane, appears to have the track record and network to rev up the sales effort.
