Not a shareholder but a satisfied customer of several years.

I nearly bought into the crowding a few years ago but am happy to have dodged that bullet!

I’m not remotely shocked with the takeover as Freetrade offered ISA and pension clients the chance to get 50% of their annual fees back if they paid the yearly cost in full just before Christmas.

At the time I thought they must be desperate for cash - I was previously paying £12 or thereabouts a month, and got an entire year for £60!

My guess is they were running on fumes at this time, and this hastened the sale.

Looks like the shares are being sold cheaply relative to where they have previously been - my sympathies for anyone screwed by this!

55p was the lowest close I believe?

No chance . They didn’t hit that in 2009 when the world looked like it was coming to an end!
Somebody is shorting Barclays.....

Sensible business, this next year will be dire but taking a long term view this company will do well.
Amazing deals on cruises currently...I’ve heard of a 40 day round the world cruise for £2000pp....you’d need to be brave but then you need to be brave to hold the shares!
