Company value £35.79m with huge amounts of gas and likely to discover more $35m carry through expected to see company through to commencement of commercial gas production. Still risks with pipeline and development licence but I'm holding for at least a year
Let’s hope Schwartz can spice things up!
I don’t know if a takeover by Best would be in our interests if it would get voted through by the board (like the delisting) at a cheap price for them. Would there be any safeguards on fair price with the shares being delisted. I would prefer a relisting when a high price is in both (ex) bod and all shareholders best interests.
It seems a lot is going on behind the scenes with both Wilson and Best gone really hope it turns out well guess we will find out soon enough.
I hope they are working behind the scenes on the liquidity event for the benefit of all shareholders as they stated when we found out the Dss deal was off. Maybe the Dss deal can be resurrected or could a takeover be on the cards wonder when we will get results from the company confirming how well things are going as a good profit must put them on the radar. Back to the waiting game It all seemed like a formality to relist so hopefully we will get positive news soon even if we never find out why the Dss deal fell through. Lots of questions but we aren’t getting answers from the company hopefully that will change soon.
Hoped to hear sooner but it does sound like the relisting is going ahead. If it wasn’t I think they would have just said so. News always seems to be expected soon at least on Monday concrete news will arrive. Fingers crossed
Surely they need to release something this week as they are still listed as exhibiting at the investors show on Saturday and it wouldn’t seem appropriate to issue new information there, is anyone going? Has it officially been released by the company no news update until Monday I haven’t seen that. I’m also starting to feel a bit concerned and would like some reassurance.
Wonder when we will hear any news on the DAN vote which was due to take place yesterday.
Kentan the letter from Stuart Thomas was in December 2015 and the company delisted in early 2016, so we have waited for over 3 years for re-listing. Mr Thomas was presented as a shareholder but later we found out he was also an adviser to the board of ATC (but not on the board) so you have to draw your own conclusions as to whether he was working alone. However they only secured the 75% needed to delist from the shareholdings of those in the know including the directors. I believe it was mainly private investors who voted against and we may have been more supportive if the strategy had been better explained to us. I guess Mr Thomas is still a shareholder but this sort of info isn't provided by a delisted company.
Hopefully it will work out well for all of us the company always maintained the delisting was due to AIM rules on the reverse takeover and that it was in all shareholders best interests hopefully we will soon find out that it was.
I agree consolidation is likely as so many small value shares will probably put off the institutional investors they need to attract.
With relisting getting closer what does everyone think the relisting price will be and how high could the share price go in the first few months I was thinking anything from .007p to 0.3p which is a big spread but reflects how little information is currently available on how well the company is doing, do we now have 3 actively producing mines?

With the extra shares being issued 0.0013 per share gets me my money back which a year ago I would have gladly taken.
Hopefully this time next week we will have a prospectus and timetable to us all being significantly better off but like you say unvrkw lets be cautious in our predictions so as not to be disappointed, although part of me still hopes to be blown away with exceptional news and a share price of over 1p.
So according to the company the half year profit to 30th June 2018 was only £356,868 but we think the booming US steel industry, increased production, shipment to Antwerp, strong $ to £ exchange rate etc will have massively boosted profits since then but we don't really know as they haven't produced figures for H2 2018. I have seen a number of suggestions that ATC will relist with a value of £70 million, certainly there are companies listed on AIM such as GGP (which I have been invested in for several years) that have similar values and may not have an income stream for a while plus we will no longer be on AIM : ) so it does seem possible, obviously as a shareholder I would like a lot more.
It is going to be an interesting couple of weeks and I look forward to reading the prospectus I have 4.1 million shares currently soon to be 6.35 million and I may well sell enough to cover my original investment of £8k and see what happens with the rest. It will be so nice to have a decision to make and a value on these shares as nearly wrote these off after the smoke and mirrors at de-listing time when they said Mr Thomas was an unknown person and he turned out to be an adviser to the company. However I think we would have all been fed up at the time they de-listed whatever we had been told so maybe all of that is best left in the past and hopefully we can look forward finally with a smile and see positive things said about the BOD.
My ATC shares have just disappeared from my halifax share account. Interesting to see what value is attached when they reappear. I imagine as mentioned there will be consolidation as won't attract big investors with so many low value shares in existence. Exciting times. Good luck everyone it really feels like its happening
I wasn’t happy about the original delisting but the business seems to be doing really well and they are relisting at a time when record profits should be recorded. So happy to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they look after all shareholders as they are after all big shareholders themselves. Its been a long wait though but I’m staying optimistic and I’ve always found Barney very responsive and honest when I’ve emailed him.
My understanding is that Daniel Stewart is just a vehicle to relisting but they can take advantage of previous tax loses to offset against future profits. Presumably the benefit if this and potential saving on relisting reflects the 10%. I don’t think we take any other responsibility for their past performance.
What I don’t get is the 2.5p nominal value of the shares as I don’t think they can trade below nominal value and although it would be great will be get 1.55 original shares at that price? Will we consolidate to achieve this and if so when should this be announced but after so many years very positive
Hope they get on with it whist the £ is weak against the $
I would imagine they will consolidate the existing shares so there are much less in circulation and a higher value in $ when relisted. Any consolidation usually means a drop in value, but interesting times, nice that they have an action plan. Feeling more optimistic than when they delisted that we will get something back and who knows in time could work out well with a bit of patience.
I'm a shareholder with 4,074,400 shares never posted before but so annoyed by this company had to register on lse to report I have voted against through Halifax very straightforward. The Halifax advise the cut off date for voting is tomorrow so not much opportunity left good luck
