Alba caught up with Ukog on early Sunday .. Ukog BB 63 posts, Alba BB 65 posts. Alba is indeed getting noticed. :)

Degsy, 20p +++ is feasible. JAY in November 2016 was 0.5p after their JORG they took off and are now at over 20p. We have a lot more iron in the fire.

By end of August we could see a substantial SP increase, hopefully beyond the 1.64p. The Align Research article in Dinero`s link below gives no reference to Brockham. We have 5% of that and the SCC planning meeting is on the 8th of August. SCC planning consent will see Angs (the operator) and Alba shares take off. GLTA.

The second fundraise at 0.3p was OGA requirement to fully pay for Alba share of HH EWT, GF said so. Now, this money will very likely be surplus as the oil sales from EWT will go towards covering the cost of testing.

Well said Degsy, couldn`t have put it better myself. I wonder why the sudden interest in Alba funding? We don’t need any ... we are fully funded for all current activities in 2018.

No fund raise this year. Alba is fully funded for all current activities.

This includes HH EWT and TBS JORC activities.

By the time funding is needed current shareholders are going to be £££££ better off ... period.

In November 2016 Blue Jay SP was 0.5p, now after JORC is more than 20p ... Alba is following with a maiden JORC this year.

HH comparison with Ukog ... Alba SP needs to go up by about 4 times just to catch up ...

Gerry, I think we all agree that funding will be required to cover HH costs post EWT. None of us is disputing this. All we are saying is that by that time, when funding is required the SP will very likely be a lot higher from current levels - all current shareholders will see a substantial increase in the value of their holdings. They will be £££££ better off. In all likelihood based on current facts.

BTW, did you take advantage of the Spreadex situation and buy some Alba shares at circa 0.24p? If you did you will be very happy now :)

By the time funds are required to progress Alba`s projects further the SP in all likelihood will be languishing at much much higher level from where now sits. Any future fundraise will very likely happen at many multiples of current level SP.

We all know that this is AIM and fundraising is normal. But in the life of an AIM company to be fully funded for the next six months is not normal. Viva GF.

Gerry, I am not suggesting that no more funding is required, of course is required to move us forward.

May be I didn’t explain it properly, what I meant is all current activities on the active projects are fully funded.

This includes TBS in Greenland where a maiden resource is expected this year, I emphasise ... this year.

It also includes HH EWT where again declaration of commerciality is expected this year. This year.

So far testing has just begun and the first test of the Portland layer is already better than the 2016 test. In all likelihood we should have exceptional results, but remains to be seen.

In either case, current activities are fully funded to the end of this year. This year.

No money raising is expected this year.

Either of the two events above, TBS JORC, or HH declaration of commerciality will see the AlBA SP rising to many multiples from where it now sits.

From what GF has promised no fund raising is expected this year by the end of which at least one of those two events above is likely going to happen. And don’t forget Brockham, SCC meeting 8th August.

In all likelihood any future fund raise, if is going to come from the PIs is very likely to happen at a much higher SP.

All IMHO based on the facts in front of me. Yes future is looking good :) . GLTA.

Buy or sell listing makes no difference to the sp.

Is not the MMs that are reporting buys or sells. If the trade is below the midpoint between bid/ask then is logged as a sell, if it is above the midpoint is logged as a buy. If the trade is at the midpoint is logged as a ?.

At the end of the day, if there are more shares available for sale than shares looking for a buy, the SP goes down, if there are less the SP goes up. If they balance out, the SP stays were it is.

There is no conspiracy there. Take a look at Alba, went up 28% on Friday with the following share volume statistics as reported on moneyam:
Buy volume: 85,041,702
Sell volume: 140,632,908
? volume: 14,353,077

Sell volume a lot higher than buy volume, yet the SP saw a 28% rise.

Simonm, agree with you. Monday should see renewed interest in Alba since Friday`s spike should draw a lot of attention. It would be fantastic if it happens and the SP moves up before consolidation :)

Kaellumbear, 0.8p by the end of this week IMO is possible, but we may see a bit of consolidation at 0.5p. I hope I am wrong though and the consolidation happens at a higher sp :).

DrRich, on the undervaluation of Alba topic, I forgot to mention that we also have 5% of Brockham where Angus is the operator. News on that are expected soon, SCC meeting on 8th August. More to look forward to fuel the SP.

All current projects are fully funded.

We have enough to pay for HH EWT costs (OGA requirement) but we may have money left from this since proceeds from the sales of oil from the EWT will be used towards paying for the cost of testing.

Two talkers full of light sweet 36 API already gone to the BP refinery.

Maiden TBS JORC expected this year and the cost for this is already covered. This should launch us on a course to catch up with Blue Jay (JAY).

Compare also Alba with Ukog market cap and is obvious that Alba is way way undervalued.
