We should be given regular updates irrespective of whether or not the EWT has finished.

The market has proven that it cannot stand silence, silence means drop in SP.

Testing updates should be weekly or bi-weekly at the latest. We need to hammer this home.

Is your understanding that optimisation will not finish until the Portland EWT is complete? Like you pointed out the first sequence includes the word ``likely`` which indicates flexibility. You may be right. I hope the market is patient. GLA

PBoo, you asked me earlier why am I in oil shares if I don't understand how EWTs are done. I admit I am no expert in EWTs, but it does not mean that I cannot invest in an oil company.

Maybe you or somebody else in the know can clarify this?

The first test sequence will likely include an optimised maximum rate test, prior to choking back the well to provide the steady state flow conditions necessary to determine the Portland oil pool's connected oil volume. The way I understand this is that the optimisation will finish well before Portland layer EWT completion.

Is this a right assumption based on the above? Because if it is, an RNS is expected by the market on the optimised flows.

The question is how long before Portland layer EWT completion would optimisation be finished? There are three sequences referenced above and optimisation will be done in the first sequence.

Can anybody clarify?

Should this not have finished by now? We really need an update.

Alba`s mining assets are company makers in their own right indeed.

HH is very important because it will bring in revenues sometime next year, revenues which can go a long way towards the running of the company and in developing the mining assets.

Brokham is equally important to Alba as it will bring revenues immediately upon commencement of testing. Brockham SCC planning approval is EXPECTED to be awarded on the 8th of August, a week from today.

The Brockham approval is BIG news for Alba ... not sure whether these small sales stopping the SP advance are coming from PIs, or somebody else standing in the way ... again.

In any case, the SP cannot be held back for too long. Good news are round the corner ... then off we go.

Dusterhater - dropping more? Have you seen the low volume? Only 3.3 million shares traded so far, MMs doing their usual. Sell now expecting it to fall ... pay more later to buy back in. Patience!
