I think some people are missing the point on this one. The point here is not the quality of the information - it is how is disseminated.

For example, why wait 2 to 3 weeks, with the SP drifting, then issue an RNS (20 Nov) covering 3 issues? - Award of licence for Gwynfynydd mine, Surface Drilling update, & Pilot Plant update.

There should have been 3 RNSs on different days, over the 3 week period, covering one issue each. This is how you support positive sentiment (and the SP) and this is how a lot of other companies are doing it (e.g. GGP, please peruse their RNSs)

Announce anything that will impart a positive sentiment to the SP. For example retrieving gold samples from the exploration. GGP announced this several times but ALBA did not as far as I know, I did not see this in an RNS (we do know from The Telegraph article that ALBA retrieved samples of gold, and Mark Austin talks about visible gold).

Announcing the Pilot Plant arrival would have had a definite positive impact on the SP. ALBA did not.

These little things can have a real impact on the SP.

Eight (8) RNSs in one month, one every 2 or 3 days, each on a single subject. Positive, encouraging.

Has anybody seen an RNS about the gold nuggets/samples ALBA recovered from the exploration? I haven’t. Don’t you really think announcing something like this boosts sentiment?

Why wasn’t the Pilot Plant arrival announced? We found out out today that is already installed. Does anybody really think that if that was announced a few days earlier it would not help the SP at all?

Targeted RNS do improve sentiment.

Also, style of the RNS, upfront descriptions to offer a bit more explanation - not everybody understands the detailed results. If you want to advance the SP you also need to keep traders and new investors on board for as long as possible. If they SP is not going anywhere they jump off.

Underground drills structural interpretation results , which were excellent drove the SP up to a about 0.5p, only to reverse, close lower and continue with the downward pressure. In a later video (I think IG) GF said that these results exceeded expectations, why wasn’t something to this extend upfront in the RNS along with an explanation of why, before it gives on to the details? Not everybody understood the results - some saw the 1.x g/ton and they thought is that all?

ALBA does really need to think of how information is announced. It needs improvement.

ORCP, by the way, recently had good news and failed to appreciate somebody posted below. ORCP is different - there is a CLN in play.

I do hope the SP does not fall any further until the assay results from the bulk samples are announced. Personally, I am expecting those to be excellent and hopefully shift the SP much higher up. Also, hopefully they will be announced early January.

GGP went from 0.5p to 2.5p then came back down to 0.5p (in 2018) and from there it started the steady assent to 35p where it now is. GGP starting exploration in 2018 is equivalent to ALBA now at Clogau.

To answer your question, I been an ALBA shareholder for the last 5 years. I invested ~£70,000 and hold around 29 million shares.

With ALBA we have been here before. One cycle took the SP to just over a penny then down, then the next one took the SP to 0.79p then down, then the next one took it to 0.67p ... then down to 0.05p this year (just a few months back) and then up to where it now is.

Due to the fairly large number of shares and warrants recently issued, ALBA needs to feed the market with news and positive sentiment, just like GGP does.

One subject, one RNS, more frequently.

ALBA’s assets are superb, we know that but unless sentiment remains positive the SP will not appreciate and what will happen when the next placing comes?

The next placing must be at a higher SP than the last one or is not going to go anywhere.

You might not like this but I am being realistic.

Please do peruse through the GGPs RNSs and compare them with ALBA’s.

ALBA needs to improve PR.

It is not just fundamentals that matter, market sentiment is equally important.

ALBA needs to do better PR – is the answer to the SP falling.

Why is the SP falling? – Simple, positive sentiment is weakened or non-existent right now.

ALBA needs to do more of it and better PR, a lot more. Can start by issuing targeted RNSs at every opportunity to keep positive sentiment alive. Targeted RNSs result to more frequent news flow and are perfectly legal (issuing of targeted RNSs is not “drip feeding” news, is being sensible in supporting the SP, the heart of an AIM company). AIM companies feed on news.

Some here have stated that the news flow coming out of ALBA is very good – I disagree.

On this board, a lot of comparison with GGP was made. Let’s compare the news flows coming out of the two.

GGP’s news flow is frequent, targeted and simpler for the average investor to understand. A few examples:

Notice any difference between GGP RNS’s and ALBA RNSs?

Contrary to ALBA, GGP issues targeted RNSs all the time, each RNS one subject. In the examples above, 8 RNSs in one month plus 2 RNSs in one day.

With ALBA, generally when you get more than one RNS in one day, they are price monitoring extensions!

Gold nuggets – both Alba and GGP recovered gold nuggets/samples.

We know that ALBA has seen visible gold in the mine and have found gold nuggets, it was in the Telegraph article. Has anybody seen an ALBA RNS on this? I have not.

Pilot Plant: we know from today’s RNS that it is already installed. Why didn’t ALBA announce its arrival (and on a separate RNS)?

An RNS comparison between the two companies can see a distinct difference in announcements which obviously helped GGP enormously (0.5p in 2018, ~34p now in 2020).

We are not talking results, everybody knows that results cannot be released until obtained.

ALBA promised the following before Christmas:

- Preliminary structural interpretation results of the surface drills
- Pilot Plant arrival and commissioning

The latter was promised for December so it must be this week.

Sentiment now is gone, needs reviving and I hope Alba doesn’t let us down.

And note that at the time of the RNS they bought shares at a premium, they bought the shares for 0.3p when the SP was at 0.2p.

They have skin in the game.

TullyCrow, nearly all sells have gone trough MM “CFEP”.

CFEP is sitting at the Ask now and this is why I think is due to large sells being worked out.

TullyCrow, is not Bergen. Bergen are well and truly out.

I don’t think is the 0.32p warrants either. I think is some larger shareholder (there were some very large trades 60 or 70 million or more) at much lower levels. Maybe one or two of those decided that they made enough money and are coming out. As they do it triggers some smaller holders to sell.

Is very frustrating watching the SP bleed I know (got close to loosing my patience a couple of times) but as I said earlier fundamentals have not changed and the RNSs so far have been good.

There is more news to come before Xmas. I hope this SP level now forms a bottom before these RNSs land. GLTA.

TullyCrow, good analysis but I do think that this is down to a big sell.

This big sell is slowly driving the SP down and the declining SP keeps new buyers away and makes some holders sell.

Fundamentally-wise nothing has changed here.

I think some peeps are getting confused. We have the Clogau and Gwynfynydd gold mines and the Dolgellau gold belt. The mines and the Dolgellau gold belt are separate. In the latter (today’s RNS) we are looking for new gold deposits and the results announced today are very encouraging.

For Clogau, 2nd December RNS, the underground drill results far exceeded ALBA expectations - intersected gold (albeit small quantities) and identified a 550 meter extension to the main lode.

For Clogau, we are still awaiting the preliminary structural interpretation results of the surface drills and the assay results from the bulk samples. As per ALBA promise, the preliminary structural interpretation results of the surface drills will be announced before Xmas - expect another RNS on this soon.

Is frustrating watching the SP decline though.

As I said earlier, ALBA needs to work harder on more publicity - needs to reach new buyers, people that don’t currently follow ALBA’s tweets and RNSs. Need media exposure.

Needs to keep the focus on Clogau and not divert to Greenland (exciting as it may be) or anywhere else. The impressive SP rise from the lows is down to Clogau alone and nothing else. ALBA needs to capitalise on this and drive the SP up now whilst the iron is hot.

I hope we get a Jewler JV RNS soon and another one on Pilot Plant arrival separate from the Surface drills RNS before Xmas - but this may be wishful thinking. GLTA
