We now had near enough 140 million shares trading at circa 0.34p and not shifting.

Very unusual.

Willow, I have been with Alba for about five years now.

Had a few cycles up and down, my buys range (in chronological sequence - max/min levels)

0.4p ... 0.75p ... 0.2p ... 0.65p ....0.048p (yes, 0.048p) ... up to where we are now.

Never sold, until just after the (confusing) last RNS which caused me de-risk. I still hold 20 million shares.

I think GF can do a lot more to improve sentiment but he doesn’t. A few years back, during an investor conference call we asked him ... he said he doesn’t pay attention to sentiment. Must be one of very few AIM developing (with no cashflow) companies that does not pay attention to market sentiment.

Alba really needs to improperly on this or will not go anywhere - another placing from this SP level and the cycle will repeat. Previously I bought at every placing (to keep up). Now if another placing occurs below the last one ... I will be out.

Scotalba, whilst I agree with what you are saying, encouraging progress updates (doesn’t have to be final results) do wonders to support the share price.

IMO, the last RNS was very confusing to most people (even though the essence of it was “all going to plan” as you said), hence the drop from above 0.6p to low 0.3p where we now are - simply not good enough.

Alba did nothing since then to clarify that. We need some positive (and no reason not to be positive, is it?) progress updates to keep the SP moving up. By all accounts we should have been over 1p by now and we are not.

We are now firmly settled below last placing - not good enough. What if Alba needs to raise again before the results arrive?

TullyCrow, you are spot on on that one. I just did a dummy sell 3 mil, was offered 0.3315p.

I am no sure though that all these sales down at this level are from PI’s. If it is warrants we will find out soon.

Volume was around 90 million yesterday, today 27 mil to 12:34PM. Another 5 mil buy at 0.34p just gone through.

Effectively all of this volume has been trades at circa 0.34p.

If shareholders get too impatient and sell on top of that, the SP will fall.

Is time for a positive and clear update on Clogau, last RNS was very confusing and has not been cleared yet.

TullyCrow and myself emailed Alba, I suggest others do the same.

There is absolutely no whiff of consolidation in today’s RNS - 100% certainty.

Normal move as a result of Brexit with no impact on shareholder value. All EU companies trading in London are or will be doing the same. Here is another one

I don’t think anybody is worried about today’s RNS, normal move as a result of Brexit with no impact on the company/shareholder value. All EU registered companies have done and are doing the same.

We are down today, not because of the RNS but because of Spreadex (my previous post).

TullyCrow, good post and good question - anybody else emailed ALBA? If not, why not?

Spreadex - a betting platform buying shares in AIM companies and using those to manipulate the share price to their advantage. I am surprised it is legal - or isn’t it?

I have seen them participating in a placing in a company that I have shares in, then selling the shares at a loss, well below placing price and destroyed the SP and damaging the company (and shareholders). At that time, they did manage to stop the advance and in doing so avoided having to honour long bets in the company.

Fortunato, here we go ... IMO, Spreadex knocking the SP off , hedging their bets.

As of 13 January they had 62.8 million shares left. I reckon they are still holding a large proportion of that as we did not really have large volumes traded so far. Yesterday’s volume was relatively large but add traders volume to that?

IMO, until Spreadex is out of the way, we are not likely to go far. Anyway, is below 0.3p now so is back to my buy range.

Wimbledon, keep things in to perspective please. “ this is just europe trying to dethrone the UK financial system” - Really?

In case you forgot, we left the EU - our decision, they didn’t kick us out. We are now a third country as far as EU is concerned. Moving clearing of an EU company stock from London to EU is perfectly normal and expected. There is nothing malicious in this move.

TullyCrow, I have contacted them too. Concerns expressed. Is time for an update on Clogau, the pilot plant has been in operation for a couple of weeks now at least. They must have collected some gold by now. - processing at 3 tonnes per hour.

I bought ALBA at 0.75p! All the way down to 0.2p .... then back up to 0.65p .... then down to 0.048p ... and back up for this current run. All, over the last 5 years.

ALBA does need to come up with something to support the SP. We are now below the most recent placing SP.

I really do not wish to see the SP below 0.3p again! ALBA (if indeed we have something at Clogau) - has to deliver. If they don’t, the SP will fall again.
