Fortunato, agreed, 62.8 million is not a lot. They are enough however to delay the launch.

Fundamentals here are excellent and it will eventually re-rate and I think it will happen soon.

If they drop the SP below 0.3p, I will be adding more.

At the time of the RNS they still had 62.8 million shares left. When these go, the re-rate should begin and the SP should shoot up.

I have seen Spreadex doing it to other stocks. I wish some big buyer comes along and buys them all from them on the cheap and teach Spreadex a lesson.

The 0.3p level is a good support, which means it is a buy area and not a sell area. These shares sold down here must be mainly warrants.

Mirasol, you may have a point there, makes sense. I suppose we will find out in a couple of weeks if/when the finance deal is closed. Not sure where that leaves the Forest Nominees through, they must have been aware of Angus intentions/plans to invest such a huge sum.

The SF deal (£12 mil financing, etc) WILL DRIVE THE SP UP.

Why didn’t Angus wait a bit, get the SP to a higher level (from the SF finance) ... then place. WHY?

I just cannot see why the Alba BOD fails to realise that all of the Alba good will right now is down to Clogau and Clogau alone.

Instead of bunging the drums on Clogau they come up with these tweets and news on other assets that only help to negatively impact the SP. FFS get Clogau going ... then move on.

Then Elir, you see nothing wrong with the 0.32p warrant holders exercising at 0.35p? Why aren’t they holding? Are they expecting the SP to crush and are in a hurry to get out as many pennies as they can? Pay for lunch?

Showing such understanding for these placings, I cannot make it out. When placings occur the only way for shareholders to keep up is to keep buying more.

Keep buying more cannot go on indefinitely. So every shareholder, if they are shareholders for the purpose of making money, should be concerned, period.

This placing today at 1.0p, when the SP yesterday closed at circa 1.40p, and today was hovering near 1.60p ... is of concern.

If more money is what they wanted (for what ever non-prudent reason, £12 million is coming for SF) why not wait another week or so and place higher?

Gaz191, there are still near enough another 150 million warrants at 0.32p to go through.

Buy-Sell, if you have been here for more than a few months (I have been here for 5 years) then you will be mindful of the slip in the SP.

What will you do if another placing hits us? I would buy more and averaging down ... but this cannot go on indefinitely. When the SP slips below last placing price, you should be worried.

Is time for Alba to come up with some news that will drive the SP up. They can do it. The pilot plant is in operation, they must have some gold to show by now and maybe invite the media along.

I am personally nearing the end of my patience. Might cut up and go, but will wait for next news before I decide.

Also the warrants! It is the norm to have them exercised at double the placing price ... 1.2p .. 1.35p ... 1.5p for crying out loud. What is going on?

What kind of people hold these warrants? Kids? How can they exercise so close to the strike price. They don’t give a damn about the company and they are so short sighted.

James, I hope you are right. Been waiting to see a profit on my Angus shareholding (at one point about £70k down) for more than 4 years now. Was recovering well in the last few days and then ... bang the placing!.

Looking at the SP action though seems to be holding quite well, another 5.275 million shares trade at 1.082p. Volume so far today 105 mil. Might see another TR-1 soon.

I will reserve my frustration until I hear from GL in his interview. Fingers crossed the SP will hold above placing SP. GLTA.

Ocelot, what do you mean by “seized the opportunity”? - What opportunity? The SP finally re-rating? Yesterday we closed at circa 1.4p and today we were close to 1.60p before the placing at 1p was announced. Why now? Where is the opportunity?

If they waited one more week, they could have raised much higher.

Ocelot, you have a point there. So, if the £12 mil funding is still available, why the placing? To run for a Geo at this time it would not be prudent.

To me it was unexpected 100% in view of the finance deal.

We had a placing at 0.9p in relation to the finance deal (at least that is what the RNS said at the time).

We then had a small placing at 0.6p to tie things over.

Now this one at 1p? (And at such a huge discount to the previous close?)
