I think this is probably in conjunction with the financing and maybe that is why it was not closed this week. We already had a small placing at 0.6p to tie things over, so why another one at 1p and at 40% discounts to the previous day’s close? Why not wait until the SP formed a higher base if indeed another placing is needed?

I suppose we will find out why soon enough when GL does his interview and I hope the SP holds above 1p in the meantime. News of funding closing cannot now come soon enough - it will push the SP higher whilst digesting the placing shares.

Gkb, this is indeed unexpected. The £12 mil funding was supposed to close this week, but extended to roughly mid Feb max.

This placing I s indeed a kick below the belt. It should not have happened. Money for a Geothermal project now is ball***ks. Get SF up on line first. If a raise for a Geo was later necessary it can a happen at a higher SP. I am disappointed (again).

Let’s see how it develops in the next few days.

Been here for five years now. Alba has some excellent assets and the market should eventually catch up - I just wish GF was more upbeat in news and RNSs.

Anyway, we should be getting some news on Pilot Plant progress soon.

I hope GF invites the media there and shows them the gold :) This should do it!

In my opinion, this SP level has strong support with minimal downside risk. Next RNS on Clogau should push the SP higher up. I am holding mine, but is your money, if you think you can make money faster elsewhere then this is what you should do. Good luck with whatever you decide and GLTA.

We are where we are because the last RNS was very confusing and not what the market was expecting - so it reacted negatively.

And yes, it appears that ALBA kind of misled us because they did RNS last year that a 3-5 tonne sample was to be send to an independent laboratory for analysis. The result of this would have been X grammes of gold per tonne in that sample, but this didn’t happen. We got instead the last RNS addressing 20.7 g/t from concentrate and proving their flowsheet which the market did not understand. Perhaps ALBA did not explain the plan clearly?

However, fundamentally nothing has changed and this can be rectified if an RNS on the Pilot Plant progress lands along with a showing of some gold. Hopefully further media coverage.

In any case, there is good strong support at this SP level and the downside risk is minimal. For those with money, IMO, is a good entry/add level here. News should be coming soon now and when they arrive the SP should move up from here. GLTA.

Nice strong support at this level. Not long to wait now, another 2/3 weeks and when the loan is confirmed it should move decidedly up.

Those naysayers should ask themselves the question:

“If Forest Nominees are still buying at 1.25p (and looks like they are aiming for 10%+) how high are they expecting the SP to rise”?

James, I think you right. The small delay in fully closing the finance gives Forest Nominees a chance to load up low. Looks like that they are aiming for 10%+.

Mirasol, I got no doubts in my mind that the funding WILL be completed.

Forest Nominees would not be buying almost 10% of the float, investing hundreds of thousands of pounds if Angus wasn’t going to succeed in this. Big guys must know a lot more than what we do.

IMO, the risks with Angus are more or less the same as with any other developing AIM company. And from where we are, in my opinion, the potential upside here far out-ways the risk.
