I first bought Copl in 2015 and Nigeria and OPL226 wasn't even on the cards then. It was all about Liberia.

When COPL came to the market it had nothing in Nigeria. What a load of rubbish.

The extra 20% of OPL226 costs $6m if the oil gushes forth. If there is no commercial oil then we may say "no thanks". Time will tell.

Why would the markets fix a problem that allows them to con people. They would much rather continue to publish misinformation that allows them to make loads of dosh.

Sula, what the trades say is meaningless. It is just a guess from a machine. The only people who know whether it is a sell or buy is the two parties involved and the market maker. Stop reading the trades as if they are the truth. Everything in investing is about smoke and mirrors. Everyone is trying to get one over on you.

Given "they" haven't got enough money to pay off Atomic's debts then where would "they" find the funds to buy COPL.

As we know "they" would have to get 30% of the shares to then bid for the whole company.

Amerisur was worth double of what the BOD sold it for. The pipeline alone was worth $100m. We were all stitched up on that one.

We discussed using the profits from Atomic to pay the $6m on OPL226 about 3 months ago when the Atomic RNS dropped. So nothing new there.

The reason the SP dropped after Dec 2016 was the duster. We are not drilling for oil this time.

What missed deadline?! The paperwork probably was completed last week. What we are waiting for is completion of the audit ( due diligence ) by the lender.

We have had some good surprises in the last 9 months. I am sure there will be a few more.

Asmalik, the court case with Essar is resolved so long as the PSC is extended. However, until the deal is concluded shorecan still owns 80% and Essar M 20% of Essar Nigeria. Who knows what could happen. As people have said shorecan will be in a stronger position in 2 weeks time. Maybe the delay in the PSC extension is because Nigeria still don't like Essar M. Time will tell.

Would be very interesting Sub. Especially if they could bypass Essar somehow. We know Essar have a good legal case but could there be someway of beating them in court.
