It’s simply being traded imo, ceo (who is very credible) has assured shareholders that drill funding will be done at asset level so if it’s ok by you, in AB I trust, rather than a nameless LSE board member whose first post it to try and convince people of a pending placing (on little volume btw). And yet the market cap is still over £2m. My understanding is that they have removed Manhenge as an impairment cost so the company is not top heavy reliant on this project and allows focus on other projects like this silver venture. Correct me if I’m wrong but the Manhenge graphite project is still very much alive, the company are just factoring in that there isn’t a lot of investment in graphite at the moment and there are a few obstacles like infrastructure that are yet to be resolved. That could all turn in an instant but seeing is believing, the cash position is a concern, some investment at asset level for Mahenge is still the goal I believe but the wait goes on.

They keep talking about reducing dilution so maybe there’s a chance of funding at asset level rather than placing again…

My understanding is that it hasn’t “disappeared”, Mahenge just needs funding and until then they have removed it from their balance sheet. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Views welcome.

Any idea what investment looks like for Mahenge? Are we looking for a JVP and take a backseat or would we sell the lot for say £10m? I notice M Bull has fingers in a few pies and has just overseen the sale of an asset through Paterson Resources..

Sometimes the obvious answer is the right one.

My own opinion, there is 993m barrels of oil but the fields geology means it’s not commercial to extract. That’s why AM witheld the RS report, AM sold us a dream and possibly a potential JV partner a dream that wasn’t reality, once they did their technicals, they walked.

There’s clearly a lot more to it than that, the fund raises, the promotional presentations to sucker us in, the bonds, oh the bloody bonds, just need to raise the pressure of the field they said, then with the SP already in the gutter, the almighty rug pull.
