Essentially NineTails, YES that is right. There are excpetions to real shorting (actual shares involved shorting). These REAL shorters (if any) will also be able to see the RNS before others and so will get out in time if they get the nod. Maybe they get nod from NOMAD.

CFD / Spread Bet can also have stop loss limits set so not a massive burn if set up right. Margins required, price per point bets etc....

No shorters registered on the short tracker as you all know. AIM nomads will always know something prior to it happening, maybe them, who knows - it is all guessing who is REAL SHORT if not being declared.

Why dont you guys just open a demo account on your platform and mess about with it. You get 10K free money - play with it and see what goes, you may learn something.

Some rampers push price up knowing it will fall just afterwards making it a target for spread bets etc - so rampers can win both ways under some scenarios via spread bets etc.

I have gone over the trades over last few months and there has never been a time when there is a continual/daily set of min prices beginning with 0.11 instead of 11.X for instance ( depending on price on the day/time) . Since the 17th Oct 2018 it has been happening every day.

It probably means nothing but I usually see this type of thing when someone is typing in the wrong amount in a hurry, for whatever reason.

Initially when I first saw it I just assumed the IIs selling in a panic on the first few days and though nothing of it...

In my experience when there is a seller of options / warrants / placings and the total figures are know via the RNS and those figures end in obscure numbers (ie: not rounded to 000's) then you can usually see when the "final" trade comes along.

For instance there was a warrant for a large number of shares and that ended in XYZ,555,555 in the trades it looked like the last one of those was this : ( check RNS for details I cannot recall right now ) :

That seemed to be the end of that one

I have yet to see any trade come in that ends with 42221

I have searched the last "98236" trades and the only one with 42221 in is:
