I have learnt over the years not to let my animal instincts force bad decisions out of me ie selling when down because I panic etc.

I now think literally about ‘futures’ so you’re putting your money where you think it’ll grow based on fundamentals and being sensitive to market mood. So a slow first 30mins after cracking news that a lot of people haven’t read yet isn’t a reason to panic.

Interesting re RNS.
The SP is ticking up nicely without any RNS, the news we’re getting via other channels are doing the job for them.
Perhaps they’ll hold off until the end of year figures on 30 April and then seep out ongoing sales figures every week or so afterwards to maintain momentum?

I would want to drip feed good news if I was them to build confidence and build reputation.

Of course I meant dopamine hits yesterday! Who knows what day it is.
I think that with any strategy it’s worth having a policy of holding off from sells if a SP suddenly rockets but discipline and psychology factors largely.
You can’t time the top of the market for selling or bottom for buying so be happy with your own policy and don’t have regrets!

First post on here but I’m no ‘Johnny Come Lately!’ Been in this one since it was at 1.22

My thing is always about the exit strategy more than anything and I learned when the pandemic hit that profits are not profits until you sell the shares and bank the proceeds.

I think that this is what makes this particular share intriguing, balancing the cautious approach of skimming and taking profits on the way up or holding on for good news and bigger climes and bigger profits!

For what it’s worth, don’t usually do many AIM shares but this one is a clear leader with good fundamentals and growing exponentially. I don’t know how long for but I’m holding for at least another month or so as long as there’s no dramatic slide. With the anticipated sales figures, why should there be a dramatic drop?

Anyway, fine setting a target to sell at but so tempting and those dopamine hits like on Friday are pretty irresistible!
