hahaha OK Suzy
good point. Agreed
FF23 Yes, I am sure the discussions have taken place with the "Come Back When it happens" Caveat.
I have a feeling there is much going on, although it surprises me that companies like LKAB or Rio arent building a stake.
Based on the results of the last week, that would be spending money to devalue the stock price. Excuse the cynisism..
Russia pert of Europe Suzy............Sends shivers down the spine..
And ignore the 57 billion dollar asset?
Is that in the hope that someone comes to us?
Definitely lost me there Gambier
So who thinks what will be next.
Options are
1 funding
2 JV
3 Sale of Kallak to Lkab
People here frequently quote that BEM are explorers not producers, that being the case, then either 2 or 3 would be the answer and the timeline will determine if 1 is required. If 2 or 3 happen in the short term (next 3 to 6 months) then 1 wont be required.
Yes agreed and the equivalent of an Escrow account for the land recovery.
57 Billion dollars of Iron Ore, 800 million shares...what on earth is going on here. Even if we pay the Sami a million dollars a year, it will be pre tax..........Where is the logic here..............
hahahahaha
I'm sure plans are being worked but I think the environmental permit is the next hurdle to cross publically. Albeit I assume the transport routes will be part of that.
I'm sure I will be corrected :-)
Greentea..OK, yes, I believe also the JV, preferably LKAB is the next catalyst. But I still think it will be >30p :-)
Good luck
OK. I personally never said it although I also thought it, well perhaps not overnight but a month or so. It would not have been the first miner to have achieved such a thing.
The concession being awarded means there will be a mine, the hoops yet to jump will merely determine the cost.
But yes, the point that a company with such a highly valued resource can be valued so low is beyond understanding to me. So I think your "Thin Air" reference was a bit extreme. The expected value is from the huge resource being approved, not from Thin Air.
I am interested to learn at what stage you believe the value would be reflected in the share price? I am always ready to learn so any insight is appreciated.
Greentea...................."Doesnt help when yu get rampers (1 notable owl) making claims of >50p baaed on thin air"
55Billion dollars of iron ore..........Thin air.
hahaha thats why they need so much space
The Reindeer by the way, are in fact farmed for income. The reindeer are there for the Sami to make money. and I would bet that the tax the Sami pay is questionable AND they don't rent the land.
I would have a small bet that we will finish blue today
i don't believe you will have to wait long. Do the math. 380m tons of hi grade iron ore, >$150/ton, 800million shares in issue.
Or to use a rule of thunmb, value of the mine being 10% of what is in the ground, its worth 5.7 billion usd
Someone will be filling their boots.
based on share price, company is presently valued at 170 million usd. Mined value of Kallak 5 billion usd......where is the logic
