I disagree entirely. When you are drilling and creating something as toxic as fossil fuels the least you can do is try and protect the wildlife. Even if it means you loose a few quid.

Absurd comment. Kill the polar bears whilst you’re at it if it improves the bank balance .. think we’ve done enough harm lately. Would much rather be invested in fossil fuels knowing they make at least some effort.

So he’s dangling a very big carrot. Perhaps he does quite fancy a buy out or something like it. End of the day, the game is essentially getting great value for the shares.

Tandmeister it’s because he said he’s withheld information for competitive reasons so seems to me he must know if he’s got it or not right, It’s not his style to not be thinking ahead and don think we would have got this discovery news had cuda not been decided! Could be wrong of course but logically it seems plausible.

If we don’t get Cuda then it’s good to know we have the Cuda money to fund multiple drills on the new discovery. He did say they plan to start this year. And we do have decent money in the bank!

Obstacles will be:
Not being bought out for cheap..
Cold weather, pipeline maintenance, transport issues ( dealt with as always has ) top side issues ( equipment is relatively simple and effective ) high pressures causing issues ( already being handled ) equipment and staff shortages ( what’s new, already factored in )

And then it’s acts of god. And things we cannot factor in.

The large rounded buying certainly seems to be pointing toward something interesting. We need a decent institutional holder who isn’t going to flip for small profit.

It is actually likely we may actually, finally get ourselves a TR1 but it might not be for days. Myself and HFB always waiting for that. Maybe soon!

No real Cuda chat lately, so wonder also if either he sacked it off when he doing out about this discovery meaning no placing or raise to fund drills this year on the new discovery!

Or Cuda is all but in the bag. If it’s not then a major may want it to encroach on us. So think Cuda must be decided already...

Rammer we’ve had months and months of balance let us be happy! If you where here you would of been with us with all the talk pre atomic and suspension. Then you would see balance and constant debates!!

There’s that shake

Experience makes me think there will be a shake at some point tomorrow a lot of new buyers looking for banking some profit and large buyers wanting best prices.

I’m holding and long as per pre Atomic deal. Still think we are way undervalued, but wonder how the general day to day market will play this. Clearly future forecast looks b good so be interesting to see. We’ve had a real long drift and loss and as we are now about at what I feel is the current base line it’s not unreasonable to assume we should see a decent correction north.

Haven’t posted as so much noise, but been here, reading and watching. We are now about at what I would consider the start, and that’s before yesterdays update..

Earl, I do have to say, I believe Art would have wanted not sell this for at least a few years whilst he grew it. But now I feel, with the amount of money needed to drill so many wells and the sheer quantity of reserves both proven and unproven it makes perfect sense for a major to want it. “Safe” and accessible land and plenty of nearby infrastructure. It seems to be a certain almost.

Put in the shoes of one of the majors nearby I’m very sure they will be talking and if we do see an offer it could well be sooner than later.

That offer will have to be very good for Art to except it. As copl is not up against the wall and holds the cards.

I’m still trying to get my head around what this discovery can do. Excluding CUDA and anything else.

So starting new production this year, cash in the bank and now 5000bopd is starting to feel insignificant to what we can legitimately achieve.

So dilution to fund new wells?, or sack of CUDA to fund new wells? or go for CUDA and get apply for new lending? No dilution would be nice.

Essentially he’s now got a very real chance of getting his 1 billion dollar company, so a TO price will have to very very very good imo.

If a takeover does come, Art won’t let it go for cheap that’s for sure. Especially now.

Oh To be a new holder buying in now. Don’t think many quite realise how undervalued the company was and now absolutely is.
