Fair value was estimated ( conservatively ) at circa £1.30 BEFORE the new discovery. Let that sink in.

Well there certainly is a lot of buzz this weekend. And not unwarranted. Alot of news flow on its way, and now we also have this giant discovery. Undervalued before the discovery, and clearly still needing a rerate of some sort most would agree before the above is even considered..

One would think it should be strong week with some games no doubt, still very very early days here. Would imagine continued big positions being taken. I’m calling a decent increase in sp by Friday.

Good stuff Tiburn, and decent comparison, thanks for that, looking like most people who are really looking and taking a reserved or low ball view are coming up with some pretty serious numbers.

Sooner we get CPR the better with this one. Yet another piece of news to add to the queue!!

We need lots of news flow Noob that’s for sure. Like you say, so many questions need answers here.
My gut feeling with this light crude discovery though is that conditions are favourable, loosely linked to the high pressures encountered and nearby production zones. Very much looking forward to looking at the data and hopefully some detailed geology, and, once we have this discovery confirmed one would assume we will struggle to trade below a pound again!

If we have a fair wind and no dilution, a decent PE and let’s say a few new rigs mobilised in the next few months; then we could be looking at £5 or so sooner than some expect. This year certainly.

But god knows. Art needs to ooze confidence, honesty and genuine facts for the market to really bite.

Fact is, and being conservative this share was worth £1.50 before this discovery, easy. Now we see estimates from £3-£20
And justified. The CPR will be quite the catalyst I imagine.

In my mind this should be £1+ now regardless. And would be disappointed should it not reach at LEAST that within 8 weeks.

With recent attention, cuda news & CPR hopefully we will see some very strong weeks ahead. No reason we should lng be breaking past a pound much quicker than anticipated.

Forgot to add, you can easily search for producing fields and find some carrying reports of productivity life, reserves and recoverable amounts. Wikipedia is good for that.

Meastro, in my experience ( sub sea ) we have had recoverable oil of being approx, and this is being very general here, of 1/3 of reserves. Some of this has included heavy oil in the North Sea and that is much more tricky than the light crude we have here. Heavy oil sub sea is tough going.

Without detailed understanding of the geology can only lossy estimate but think at least we should be looking at 1/4 - 1/3 recoverable I would hope.

To be honest I would expect more due to the location and previous data but still, pure speculation based on unrelated fields really.

I mean give it a rest with trying to spread fear on a Friday night and agree that we need the report. See a lot of new names popping up like you trying to spread weird doubt and strange tactics. Enjoy the weekend all. Been a great week.

Give it rest solo it’s only been a few days, you can’t just order a CPR from Amazon! and you don’t say you’ve found 1.5bn barrels without having some idea. But yes, we do need it verified, and yes that’s when we will see some serious buying.

Just don’t forget this is seriously undervalued without this fantasy made up find :)

What annoys me is I took all the risk pre suspension on quoting Atomic, we took all the risk. And now people can just waltz in a buy at what it was, or less?!!! Than before atomic was bought. Mental.

And now your telling me, with 1.5 BILLION barrels of oil discovered, a facility, drilling rigs, cash in the bank we are still worth what we where before all this, and yes that takes into account dilution! That we are worth 30p!!!

There’s either some god awful corrupt things going on or we are SERIOUSLY due a MASSIVE re-rate.

Or I’m a grape in a Tibetans man’s slipper.

I know this isn’t relative today HFB. And I’ve mentioned before but in the industry rising sea levels are a genuine concern and WILL and IS a real issue especially when 40% of recoverable oil is sea level. That’s a lot.

I’ve also mentioned the odds of oil rising is very high due to low stocks and increasing demand and supply issues.

Why mention. Well, at current mcap and reserves, our geographic location and infrastructure in place. I can’t see how on this sweet Earth we wouldn’t be being looked at by majors.

Of course, if oil does continue to rise it stabilise , and we do move forward on our own or perhaps with a partner of sorts then the investment case looks very very strong indeed.

Feels like waiting at a launch pad atm, just watching the rockets thrusters steam & spark, preparing for full ignition, the PA system crackles as the control centre clear their breath for countdown. The sky is blue, with only a few whisps of light cloud lazily bathing in a warm winter sun.

Well not long left to delay again, and they did say on or before… so still could achieve a self set delayed deadline yet!

I would be option 2. Sack of cuda and get drilling on new discovery. Get that bopd uplift and money. They can sort a rig and drill very quickly.

I think Art will have made a decision on acquiring cuda already. Only 3 options I think from here? and all good really:

1) Aquire Cuda with raised funds and get the uplift that brings. ( Safest financial option, I think )

2) Don’t go ahead with cuda and use cash in the bank to fund new drills ( some significant risk here if a drill or two fail, as we do have debts to service )

3) A partner of some capacity to take on the new discovery ( Best way to bring value quickly )

And four would be a total buy out of the company for a decent sum. But it would have to be decent as with any of the above in place the company will go from strength to strength on its own thus making any takeover offer in the future a higher price.

Will he go the slow or steady way or all guns blazing. We will know within a 4-6 weeks I should think, perhaps sooner.

Did say we would see a shake day before yesterday, we just had so much volume and also a ton of traders chasing rainbows. Market seems to be churning and processing currently and had to have a day or two of a breather. Been large buys much higher than this, so surely some slight correction before another rally imo.

Keeping it very simple we had a decent target and also broker targets of let’s say 60-130p before the game changing discovery. As mentioned currently we have near zero factored in apart from some core assets, that’s actually a very big deal when looking at the current mcap.

Once we get some official figures released regarding highly likely production increase, news on if cuda money will buy cuda or fund new drilling program, cpr, JV / farm out on new discovery ..just so much news we know is there to come.

All in good time. Strongest position we have currently been in. Cash in the bank, a mega asset, Infrastructure in place and already producing.

Things are very different now before we acquired Atomic! and the sp right now doesn’t barely take into account anything.

It’s very hard to see how this can’t rerate massively soon, it seems only a matter of time.
