88e is a fantasy though and just speculation until it achieves something I’ve seen too many 88e type shares come and go to believe otherwise; all hype and everyone get rinsed on listening to charts, hopes, dreams and metrics that essentially mean nothing , those shares get manipulated to death, like every share with potential but nothing. iis never risk serious money on low odds!! Unless they can retrieve their lending back through forced sale of assets, land or property.

Copl is a different beast entirely, it just needs to optimise, develop and refine what we have. If it’s done right I think many here will be very surprised.

Agree with value this and that but for me it’s all about assets being essentially worth more than the debt. Value in the ground on licences also means little until it turns into value in the bank.

We cannot hope that Nigeria will save us. We have everything we need, Art just needs to tune it in. Nigeria is a total wildcard.

Maybe if that’s all we had we would be valued much higher on the hype of hope!

Pretty sure it won’t be long before COPL is generating substantial profits from Atomic alone.

Although part of me feels very let down by ART. I feel now isn’t the time to dwell on it. To his credit he just got us Atomic, and could well be putting his all into optimising things and simply can’t update us and give us all comforting cuddles.

But I would like that cuddle and be told everything is ok, doesn’t mean he has to or is currently able to.

I feel uneasy about all the get him out and we need a CEO etc because it’s so early in the game, and it’s due to him that we have what we do here.

He’s handling the high pressures and finding solutions I think, he’s raised money to hopefully acquire another asset for us. No news could just, be good news!

There is no proof as yet that he’s not doing his best as much as we all are desperate for news, it is possible, it’s just not possible to do that right now.

Being hopefully optimistic here obviously.

Simply, there are ALWAYS sellers.

We have been in information limbo, people have bought and bought again and averaged down and many just holding now. In the mean time sellers need to sell for what we reason.

Result, is the sp falls but not really related to mcap or value.

Our assets, future production and reserve estimates simply are not valued at 17p.

Fair one Bob, and many of us took the risk before Atomic to support the endeavour and in return we get nothing except what can only be seen as contempt.

Seems to me very reasonable questions we all are wondering. 50% loss of mcap in such short time is a pretty serious fall.

Still think there are things going on ( hopefully in the companies and our favour ) that are the reasons and can’t be revealed. Such as the “withholding data for *competitive* reasons” comments.. competitive must allude to cuda bidding I’m certain..

Feels as though this is all part of a master plan, the no placing comment must have been made before knowing about the opportunity with cuda, but felt he had to make a bid as that sort of opportunity is rarely on the table..

Want to believe he’s keeping his cards close to his chest. Not out of contempt to shareholders but for their long time best interest, and it must be frustrating to see us mouthing off at him when he knows he’s just working to get the best for us in the long run.

Wether that is true or not we will learn shortly in sure!

AJEP, what Art should have done, as he has shown he is aware! Is to make sure he counters those trolls. And understand that it is his own fault that they exist in the first place. By not updating shareholders in difficult times especially when HUGE amounts have been lost because of it and halving his market cap.. shows a level of contempt that surprises me.

But the flip side is, it may of suited him *IF* it influences the cuda deal in his favour. Not sure if that’s crazy thinking or not.

Rampers and derampers as dangerous as each other. All we need is balance and balanced discussion. Hope that returns.

ARt has a history and that was known before most invested. He’s also a deal maker and has proven this. Personally I believe a lot of the smoke and mirrors has been about getting another good deal alongside taking over a new company.

I disagree somewhat with public forums such as this having no effect ( thousands read and check it ) along side Twitter, telegram etc etc. why? Because you can read, then buy and sell in the same minute due to smart phone technology. It only takes 1 or 2 out of 10 holders to feel uncomfortable and they’ll sell, ESPECIALLY if they bought on the back of just reading stuff on this site. And I can tell you hundreds if not thousands of people do. It’s a very different market than when you had to read papers and telephone your own broker!!

I myself have bought and sold shares based on things posted here. Shares brought to my attention etc, taken punts! I’m not the only one I’m sure. Bigger stuff, I read more into. But I’ve invested the odd grand with very little understanding of a share, just for fun really. It’s terrible. I try not to anymore. But it happens all the time.

So a poster like LB, when a share is in limbo. Might be able to drop the sp by spreading fear to those less experienced or knowledgable posters. Even if just a few. And when you get sells and no buys, the sp drops as we know.

To say they have no effect is wrong, in my opinion. Sentiment is a powerful force now. And why It is so IMPORTANT Art you do the odd progress update or interview etc etc.

Sorry Yes, but working capital a bit vague when it comes to such an amount of money. Seems an easy way to pull a trick if he chose. Prefer it paid back as a div after the misery it’s been causing.

I still don’t think he would have raised, not knowing the offer would be accepted, especially being a specific amount.

Seems like a win win here. If the news drops and it’s not great, we are so undervalued it surely can’t get any lower??? If the news drops and it confirms decent figures and outlook then a run to 60p and beyond shouldn’t be in anyway a dream!??

All ready doubled my holding and still in the red so can’t top up anymore but wish I had this chance months ago.

The main factor here is we know we have issues due to having what we want. Tame the beast, get it under control and re-evaluate. Art is doing this I’m certain and at the same time, hopefully, trying to get us CUDA.. although personally not a fan of it nor the raise to fund.. looking forward to being made to feel very wrong indeed for that I hope.

Often we may find oil/gas, the huge issue then is extraction, storage and transport facilities. We don’t have that really here. Good WTI , safe land and excellent reserves.

Feels like a case of short term pain long term gain. If we get things under control and don’t get any more dilution ( please please no more ) then Art can turn this around.

Have to say to Tiburn has provided some of the best info on here but thank you. My input really is poor in comparison being more of a practical chap rather than academic minded so to speak. Let’s hope we see a change of sentiment for the better and with luck some good updates soon, we do need them. And I’m sure they’ll come as soon as the situation on the ground allows.

If we had all followed the derampers we would all not have lost so much so far that’s for sure!!. I know your frustrated and with damn good reason. I’ll fight a positive corner until proven wrong. Don’t fully trust ART but feel he’s out to get the best long term outcome. Just hope we as holders are included in that.
