The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Good points Bozi, hopefully the PFS will help the SP, but who promised the PFS in 2019 and 'shock & awe' last year? The continual over promise under deliver has destroyed confidence in this share and NM is at the core of that.
Bozi, fair point, but there has clearly been a major cloud hanging over SG irrespective of what RNS they have issued. It is clear there were moves to remove NM and he is still lurking in the background which has left the situation unresolved. He can still exercise his influence as a major shareholder, but my view is that his needs to fully resign so SG can be seen to start on a fresh path.
One point I asked them to comment on was NM's role and him effectively being a fly in the ointment, at least to BHP , and increasingly in many PI's eyes. THE AGM notice will clarify if a resolution has proposed by anyone to remove NM from his position.
I emailed Fawzi with a number of points and asked for Twigger's SG email address, Fawzi has confirmed he has forwarded my email to Twigger along with many others he has received. They will be in no doubt that unless they provide some meaningful update on the CEO, drilling, PFS before the AGM there are many PIs that will not support the board.
This is off topic, but if anyone is struggling to keep their morale up during this buggrs muddle, this is a superb motivational interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGxwvfHGomM. Enjoy the weekend folks, one more weekend has ebbed away, no explanation from SG board why we should vote for them....Hopefully next week will bring some clarity.
Thanks CD, obviously the higher the better, but as long as we clear 45p plus I'd take it. 70p-£1 plus I shall be over the moon.
I am not impressed with the current board, but that may change rapidly if they actually provide some updates. Having said that I am still inclined to back them in the current circumstances.
Great, so:
1. the board are desperate for support;
2. they board think we are undervalued (doh - that's down to them, whatever excuse they have they have not appointed a CEO and no meaningful news in a year;
3. No mention of Mather, the real fly in the ointment, does the RNS mean his must seek re-election?
4. BHP are not on side any longer (see 2-3 above);
5. May be at last we will get some resolution to this mess.
Does anyone know Tigger's email please?
Fawzi told me a week or so back that company will issue the notice of AGM in November. They therefore have until 25th November send the notice in order to hold the AGM on 17th December. We could be waiting a few weeks yet.
