Possible Fauci's comments just put the US markets into buy mode. Plenty of cash on the sidelines after the huge tech sell-off. Question is will it maintain this going forward or we drifting back. Hopefully sajid puts a floor under it tonight, but I suspect it'll be another condescending thinly veiled warning

Livestock - point being any progress is short lived if restrictions are looming, real progress will be locked in if these wallopers drop panic restrictions and get on on life. The market won't hold on traders alone and institutions won't guess.

The SP is falling because there's no news yet on what the impact of this varient is, after a bit of volatility in the first hour everything settles down. The SP is basically at the mercy of the general market swings now and with the US opening it'll likely see another bit of volatility. The US sell-off was triggered last week because of payroll data unless thats over we'll probably see another sell off today. Not all movements are to do with the company.

I have no faith in the leadership mate. I keep thinking there's either something we aren't being told or there's an ulterior motive, I.e cash. Day 2 tests after you've flown and infected a whole plane is just pish.

I think these are pipe dreams atm. There's no way these planes will be in the sky soon. I think I'm right in saying all this net zero stuff excludes airline emmisions (don't quote me) because there's no safe alternative remotely close.

Suspect the nxt gen of planes will still be efficient gas guzzlers

Not sure what the CO2 impact will be with this, I'm told to make hydrogen takes a lot of gas etc. So you're still using hydrocarbons.
