Theres several prominent scientists have indicated its less virulent and for good reason.

As stated by the expert who helped created the Moderna vaccine - a virus that mutates its spike protein enough to escape the vaccine in any significant form will lose its functionality and will therefore be less likely to bind to ACE2 receptors in our cells and be less virulent (dangerous). the vaccine works against omicron, it is not obsolete, even 2 doses. The omicron varient also doesn't multiply in the lungs the way delta did it multiplies In the throat a lot faster hence the higher R number.

Scientists have had a good look at this and have also stated lab data doesn't always replicate what happens in the community which has as a matter of fact put less people in hospital and had less deaths. Despite what the corporate media says.

I could be wrong here but analysts targets arent always short term. Could be wrong but they don't state time limits because fluctuations are normal given weekly news but their price analysis could be for summer 2022 for example. Everyone always says invest with 5 year time frames, well fund managers tell clients that. No brainer this is a buy but it's very volatile and dependent on politics. I think everyone on here is investing but assess their stocks on trader timescales. In the summer people on here will have forgotten these prices bar another covid disaster. Whether it hits 90p this winter or not. If I can take 5k profit now or 15 in summer I'm holding on as much as possible be because I'll probably get it 5oo early on my next stock pick anyway lol.
