Up here in Scotland we have a leader who wants to lock people up for 8 days when they land. Its pure contempt for peoples sovereignty ghat angers me. I can't stand someone who thinks their opinion trumps someone's right to make decisions. Its pure authoritarian and imo shows someone's true character.

If you can't make decisions better than someone else let them make them for their families sake.

It'll stop falling when they decide basically. Don't see that being today with half day trading in US, they'll wait till nxt week. HOWEVER you I haven't disputed the vaccine efficacy versus illness. I dispute your claim the varients are spreading because of unvaccinated, which is complete nonsense.

Vaccines Vs the Delta varient are still 92% effective after 6 months - via a reputable study in Edinburgh.

This new varient would need to have changed so much, it's 3ildly different to what we're seeing now so multiple mutations. its not expected there's anything close to this.
