The BoD referring to us as members rather than shareholders is an interesting and encouraging development. It is as if we were backers of a scheme which has now come good and our status, as a result, has changed.
Perhaps I am reading too much into it, but the RNSs are skilfully crafted to be interpreted without showing their hand and the new inclusive noun may be significant - not to say, Massive !

IMHO the bod have been very skilful in providing investors with as much information about the sale as possible, while protecting their negotiating hand.
With all the info available, It's now down to whether or not we have faith in our own judgement and investment choices. If I harboured the doubts that some have expressed on this board, I wouldn't be risking my hard earned.
As it is, I'm in 'til the end and confident that my losses will be made good.

Hi Pewee, good to hear that NS&I worked well for you. My problems were of my own making. Forgetting a ten year old password and having call guard on my phone really messed up the system, but 12 days on, hoping for cash to arrive within the next couple of days.

NB; Thanks to lenoman and other unacknowledged good will messages over last week. Didn't want to clog the bb, but all sentiments much appreciated.

I'm with you on that one Mac, Any delay is welcome until NS&I get round to depositing cashed in premium bonds for the last, final, ultimate top up. Thought I'd missed the boat, but let off on Friday. If they can hang on 'til Tuesday (or later) with the the rns, I'll be a happy mth.

Good morning m'hearties. £80k down and icon in suspension, yet I couldn't be happier. Found out yesterday that signs that the old trouble had reappeared after 5 years , proved to be false. Massive relief all round and a new appreciation of what is really important in life.

Sorry if my post came over as discouraging JS. Just felt that the price is being controlled, but it won't affect the final result and it does allow us to top up on more low cost shares. Like you, I'm in 'til the end. GLA.

The technical sp graph on the minute range, investing.com, displays a large saw tooth pattern of highs and lows. The few sells shown on the eua board, seem to have a disproportionate downward effect on the share price when compared to the number of buys. It does seem to re-enforce my paranoia about an unseen hand controlling the price and becomes more blatant following all the positive news. At least we can play them at their own game by topping up on their manipulated dips and keeping as many shares as possible from their clutches.

If history is anything to go by, Blackrock will be a massive holder of whatever EUA becomes - and imho, will be worth much more than the sale price within a year. Will definitely try to stay invested.
