Don't know if this has been mentioned already, but is it possible that a deal of this magnitude would have to be cleared by some government administrative department before it's announced ? We all know how slow they can be to oblige, and could explain the waiting time.

You may be right WTF, but I would prefer to describe Hoochy's posts as outrageous rather than ludicrous, and we love him for it. His posts have provided a degree of levity at a time that has been stressful for many reasons, for a lot of people. Whether you like him or not, I think The Hooch has given a lot to this board and kept our spirits up during this long wait. When it's all over, i hope we can follow him on other boards.

After reading about the £34 billion claim being made against Experion credit checking agency for selling off confidential information, it puts into perspective the vast sums companies have to play with. Considering what we have to offer, multiples of billions no longer seems ridiculously expensive or unattainable - imho.

Good post Pepsi. I'm pretty new to the game and this share has taught me a lot on how AIM operates. Despite a huge loss on my 33p average I'm not losing any sleep over it. The lack of news is giving the mms a field day but I am happy to wait it out for a decent return in the end.

Anyone out there with MandA experience who could hazard a guess at the cost of negotiating sale like this, perhaps as a percentage of the eventual price agreed?

Hi Toon. My thoughts were that Tesla has the money and needs the resources and NN have the expertese to mine them. if the deal is as biblical as has been mentioned, finance could be a consideration.

Anyone else think a NN/Tesla deal could work?
