Hmmmm ….. Apple is a very tight ship. I’d be amazed if they would let something like this leak.

Plus you’ve got to think of this as the same as the Amazon investment. Its end goal will be to use the theatres to enhance their steaming offering. It will be ingesting to see how long the exclusive window is for these companies.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the CP judgement. They’ll most likely get cents on the dollar along with all the other unsecured creditors.

RI - the value of any sale of the ROW business would simply reduce the groups indebtedness. The chapter 11 is simply an automatic stay from prosecution for those companies which are within the UK and US groups, which is why the DIP finance cleared down the ROW debt in the first place. It stopped the ROW creditors starting litigation against Cine.

If I was to use any word to describe this it would be procedural.

Elvis - I remember when we talked about the going concern statements I said I was surprised that there hadn’t been a large write down of the goodwill already so I think you might be right.

They cannot because of the size of the debt in relation to the value of the company.

They are telling you what is expected to happen. Which they are required to do with it being a public company. Put it this way would you think it’s better they didn’t and then what happens when there is no recovery and they didn’t warm you?

You would hope that the board are planning for the resumption of normal activities at some point and rather than walking off into the sunset with everyone's paper shares they would be planning for normality and the recapping of International markets.

Without no independent representation on the board no one has a clue what is going on though.

Anyone who invested in CW as soon as covid hit knew this was a massive gamble. I had a dabble in it myself in 2020.

The whole thing literally played out in public. Every company has a remuneration commuter which sets executives pay. It’s meat and two veg. The annual report like hexam said have full disclosure on the going concern statement that the company was in financial trouble.

You can’t litigate because you made a bad bargain.

What you are watching is a bankruptcy playing out and it happens every day of the week.

By whom and on what basis? Companies go bankrupt everyday. What’s your legal argument?

With Tesla I think it was probably because of the valuation, its come down loads though. It had a PE of over a thousand at one point.

I’m only holding Apple in the US at the moment as I cashed in on what I had left after the January rally.

Looking for a re entry point now, especially when Nvidia comes down.
