Netflix is a platform business. It wouldnt synergise with their model and I doubt they have the core competencies to run a Cinema chain.

Disney is a jack of all trades and would be a far more suitable buyer.

Well you cannot magic the transfer of capital and assets from one company to another on a whim there is a process.

They can monetise their current model though. They only need to do a deal though. Not buy a whole chain with £9bn owned on the balance sheet.

Plus it goes against their model. They run a streamlined low overheads high margin business. It wouldn’t make sense for them clogging up the balance sheet with lease commitments, etc.

I believe they’ve done several raises as well from the meme stock rises.

Opulent - They won't be able to set up Newco and start trading on a new exchange. The Plc is the holding company for the entire group. So any transfers of assets, shares, etc, from the Plc to Newco will need the authority of the UK Government.

JIm - Evraz cannot pay a dividend is it would come from the sanctioned Plc. They have to ask for a license just to make the bond interest payments.

There is no way the government would allow a dividend payment, not a chance. Plus as I keep telling Infinity all shareholders are equal, so Evraz cannot decide to pay a dividend to those with paper certificates only, as it will be laughed out of the capital markets.

In the event of sanctions being lifted Evraz will be able to rejoin crest and normal service would be resumed.

Subscriber numbers might be slowing slightly but they've got loads of levers to pull, like advertising, blocks on account sharing, etc. Competition is tough in streaming as well though,

I don’t think you can blame the drop of the last couple of weeks on shorters. It was the company finally admitting that they are a dwarf’s **** away from running out of cash.

You’ve got to look at debt in proportion to turnover, net profit, EBITDA, free cash flow, etc.
