George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Depends how the share price performs!
Thank you Johnny. Sorry, just a mild case of dyslexia!
I noticed Premier was one of the tests featured in this article:

It was not one of the top three, but not the worst either.

Today is not about Humber, it's about the market
I could imagine that with limited funds this may not be the best use of capital. But I am not an expert regarding the courts.
I think the bit about Humber is all speculation?
We know what they're doing with Bisc, but to then infer something about West Newton is just speculation. Or I have missed something.
Key line: says WN should be worth 500M GBP to RBD... that would be nice.
Malcy loves RBD, has this changed? Why would you say this?
Danube is not an "operator" to my understanding. It is in the exploration/appraisal phase. That alone says it's not them, to me.
I was just confused about what Malcy's statement meant. Yes, it is all an approximation, I know.
"WN is worth 5x the Mcap of either of these 2 companies"
So does that mean both UJO and RBD are going 5x to realize this value?
Or if WN is worth 5x the market cap of UJO then it is worth ~£110M, if it is worth 5x the market cap of RBD then it is worth ~£250M. And this is for WN as a whole, of which RBD has a 50% exposure. So RBD is worth £125M or 2.5x today's price when WN is fully valued?
Again, I know it's all an approximation, but there is significant differences in this approximation based on how you interpret what he said. I wish he had been more precise.
deemule, can you elaborate on this a little more? I have not seen this elsewhere but it would make a lot of sense if true.
He's selling RBD for basically the price of the placing her participated in...
Stifel is quite a brand-name broker for a company of this size. Granted they did the recent placing so I guess this appointment could have been expected. A positive though. Expect they will issue a (positive) research report soon.
lucky you are totally ridiculous. Either ignorant or a troll.
The placing money is earmarked to boost RBD stake in Rathlin from 36% -> 59.5% and hence their WN stake from 24% -> 39.7%
So they are going to torpedo this investment (and hencethe company) because they cannot issue a further 2.666B shares to further boost the Rathlin stake from 59.5% -> 75%, and hence the WN stake from 39.7% -> 50%?
Really? This is what they are going to do? I am glad S&S and not you are not running the company.
Wait for the vote (which is today). If that goes ahead (and it will) things will move forward. RBD is not going to sit on the money.
The share swap was a cherry on top. It does not impact WN ability to move forward. That is a function of cash, which we will have plenty of after today.
If Rathlin private shareholders don't want to move forward it is only bittersweet. It speaks to their conviction of the value of Rathlin / WN. An asset/company we own 60% / 40% respectively after today.
Geeze people.
Share swap is meaningless to actual progress at West Newton.
RBD is getting the money.
The only question is whether they will be issuing additional (dilutive) shares to Rathlin private shareholders. The fact that these shareholders may not want to move forward says to me that West Newton is worth more than RBD is offering.
i.e. Bullish West Newton / UJO
VerbierDave has the right reading in my opinion.
If anything I view this as bullish for West Newton. Perhaps the Rathlin shareholders want better terms on the share swap. (i.e. RBD is undervalued vis-a-vis West Newton)
RBD is the controlling shareholder of Rathlin.
AJamesW, I think you should research the definition of arms length and explain how it applies to this situation.
Yes, I used to come here to learn about UJO's WN because the garbage was there. Now here too. Too bad
DeniaPi, the presentation does actually say 1.2p on Slide 21.
Whether they can get it done at that price, we shall see. It would be impressive if they did. Anything over 1p is still great IMO
Bobee, did you buy your friend another Guinness recently?
