"CleanTech and Lithium Chile: Legal doubts surrounding the announcements of two companies seeking to enter the lithium game" .... "all the companies that are exploring salt flats, which are many, are betting on getting the Ceoles as soon as the state opens the tenders through Codelco, Enami or the Ministry of Economy, and in the future through the National Lithium Company, which will centralize all the management of this mineral, and will promote public-private associations. Do any of you know the company Aspromin spa? The homepage https://www.asprominchile.com/ only works partially, interesting are especially the Li values in the Llamara project listed in the Youtube video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hignRRkRdJY&t=479s (from 01m:27s) -> in drill Core they found Li grades between 887 - 1.140 mg Li / Liter, in saline crust from 3 - 1.073 mg Li / Liter !?
https://www.xm.com/de/research/markets/allNews/reuters/chiles-boric-announces-plan-to-nationalize-lithium-industry-53526427
But what exactly does that change about the situation in Chile? The fact is that cooperation with a state-owned company is still required for lithium production. The same content, just a different packaging.
the following 2 statements from the article make me think:
Future lithium contracts would only be issued as public-private partnerships with state control, he said.
Codelco and state miner Enami will be given exploration and extraction contracts in areas where there are now private projects (!) before the national lithium company is formed.
Does anyone know the private company mentioned or the NI43-101 report referred to? I can't find any information about it on the internet !
have a closer look at Lithium Chile LITH.V ...
why not stay with lithium? there are many interesting and still undervalued companies on the market .. like Lithium Chile (LITH.V) with 12 high grade Lithium projects and 5 Gold / Copper prospects -> current MC 55M us$, or really cheap GBML.V with Clay project in usa and Li property in Ireland (!) - with MC of "just" 12M us$
"Do i think BCN is something I want to hold through 2023? - yes 100% its going to become a solid dividend stock and something ill tuck away."
I´m with you and have again started buying BCN shares after selling some of my "Lithium Chile" shares - IMO still the most underrated Li-Exploration company ...
Hi, I´m back ... after BCN´s fundraising and their latest RNS lets do some math :
44M us$ Cash on June30th, 2020
150M us$ Debt financing by RK mine
65M us$ funding placement
31M us$ Ganfengs option to increase holding in BCN
30M us$ Ganfeng 25% -> 50% project
--------------------------------------------------------------------
320M us$
--------------------------------------------------------------------
- 10M us$ cash burned (estimate)
- 210M us$ 50% project costs
--------------------------------------------------------------------
remaining cash 100M us$ ?!?!? -> enough reserve
MC after all transactions appr. 245M us$ (388M shares x 46gbp)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
btw. I still miss final / updated costs for the plant ?!?
since the FS prices have increased and steel prices are exploding, I´m wondering if they can hold the costs estimate ...
which explains why I sold and exlpains where I will buy again ... -> target zone for correction ...
https://twitter.com/wolfiat/status/1337312788004433921?s=20
sold most of my BCN shares in the last 2 days (mainly because of tax considerations) and switched to Lithium Chile - i like their chart - ... now waiting for some kind of a correction @BCN to invest again - still a "strong buy" ...
It seems Li Carbonate price finally found the bottom ... 2nd weekly price increase in a row ... very bullish
Market & price developments
Bullish sentiment and high offer prices push China’s battery-grade lithium carbonate assessment up again.
China’s industrial-grade lithium carbonate prices also moved up on tight supply.
Asian battery-grade lithium spot market remained rangebound but with a negative bias, particularly for hydroxide.
Europe and US lithium hydroxide market dipped on bearish demand sentiment.

RNS from BCN regarding this topic would be highly recommended ...
The "Don´t miss the bus- feeling" is starting -)
fundamental data will drive SP higher and higher, through all technical resistances ...
SP tends to be either much too low or too high ...
once again a big discrepancy in pricing between GB and DE
SP in Germany (TradeGate) ... 45.65ct - 48.76ct -> 41.0p - 43.5p
SP in London 38p - 39p
????
great ... currently we "just" see a "minor technical correction" from resistance @ 39-41p ... which should soon will become next support once it is crossed .. next stop/target appr. 54-56p... then 70p (IMO by end of THIS year ) ...
And I´m sure Mexico will realize very soon that without GANFENG they will never get any Li out of the ground. ... If they are clever they learn from this project and cooperate with them, pushing forward other Li - projects in the country ...
very strange ... that means for me either a larger buy or sell order in the market ...
PRO: Project financing secured "Bacanora had already arranged finance of US$240mln"
-> https://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/216967/bacanora-lithium-sees-sonora-still-on-track-216967.html
CONTRA: Ongoing discussion regarding Nationalization in Mexico
-> https://www.mining.com/mexico-pushes-ahead-with-lithium-nationalization-plans/
-> https://www.mineria-pa.com/noticias/amagues-de-nacionalizar-litio-en-mexico-genera-preocupacion/
IMO we will NEVER AGAIN see such low SP - prices as today ... up and away ...
Sonora project CAPEX costs = 420M us$
50% = 210M
BCN current Cash 44M us$ (20.6.2020) + 28.8M us$ for 25% of Sonora Project + 150M us$ = 222.8M us$ !!!!!
-> theoretically there´s no need for further financing .... the deal is done !!
£5.5m is approximately the value of the (current) spread .... -))
