I wonder where all the savings that's were promised due to automation, branch closures, outsourcing, and reduced expenditures delivered from staff homeworking.

It ain't showing in the Shareprice, Dividends or Customer Satisfaction levels.

Maybe it being wasted in share buy backs

Who knows?

A year ago we were £3+, today we are barely £2+

And yet we shareholders have agreed to pay millions to the CEO and their chums for protecting our investments.

Can help but wonder if I looked after my friends firm whilst he took a year old out,

Would I be getting a salary or bonus

Question:

Why do CEOs and chums retain jobs and recieve bonuses for bad shareprice performances year on year

Can't believe that it start the new year at £1.54 and here we are five wks later and dropped to £1.44 , with only two weeks before year end results and final dividend.

And I don't think that will be big enough for me to break even

January hasn't been kind, it started the year at 1.64 and dropped to £1.54 by month end.

What / who needs to change, to drive this bank on

Of all the bank shares I hold this is the worst.

I have held since Mr Duffy came on board hoping that positive returns would follow.

I feel that we now need a change in leadership and direction as there doesn't seem to be a market positive to his approach of 'A life more virgin'.

Yip, the board have a remit to deliver share holder values and returns - yet they have failed to do so for me.

If I owned a business and my management team performed as badly as the current board they would be sacked.

Yet this board continues to ride the gravy train whilst the shareholders are left on sidings desperate for a few slops to fall.

Time to stop the board being paid for failure.

Anyone any thoughts?

Either way it a turned to be a dog of share.

If they keeps performing like this I'll need a trolley to cope with any further losses on the backend.

Does not seem like Barc have anything to cheers about over the last 12 months.

Hope the the board are not going to reward themselves.

Should we expect to hear anything from the board re possible results and dividend.

Anyone found any transcriptions or media interviews given by the board re the results on the 23rd

Good interview with David Duffy on Bloomberg from Dec 2022.

Stating the focus of the business was to GROW the dividend (to 10p )and increase share buybacks.

It was disappointing to only receive 2p as a final dividend today, after an intermediate dividend of 3.3p during the year.

I agree, someone or something has dropped the ball.

I don't know about 'challenger bank'

It's certainly a challenging share to own

since buying in at the IPO in 2014 at 2.80ish.

Nearly a decade on and the shareprice/performance is dire.

Does anyone know whether this company has returned it backroom staff to offices or are the majority of their staff working at home.

Or is it a 90/10 split (90% of time is spent at home)?
