Conventional oil & gas production licences took a step to being easier to obtain when a Mayor from Lancashire's legal challenge against the governments proposal to treat non fracking drilling as permitted development was thrown out by the High Court. In the future the applications should be classed as a strategic national infrastructure.

No mention of the KL3 test complete & if declared commercial it is not priced in to the share price.

So HH2 & the sidetrack costs & flow testing cost will all be profit & loss for HHDL.

Tellurian would then be liable for the costs of the other 4 Wells & water injection Wells detailed in the scoping document if I understand it correctly.

After reading your winging for so long now I think I understand your points but suggest you RE-read your post & the points that you made as you have only committed on the first half.

The second half was the consideration of how far the share price would fall once the oil taps were turned off & the third was if SS was believable that we were fully funded until the end of 2019 without further income.

At what point will they receive there 35% of the income?

Unless he believes the costs are reduced with more oil produced & it is self explanatory.

It is interesting that even SS has not made any comments on KL3 being commercially viable despite the increased oil levels going to Gamble.

I am also not sure if the HH1 well is drilled deep enough to do an gas appraisal this may be possible with drilling one of the new planned wells at HH.

I asked the question in part because of DL's comment but when UKOG had its problems at BB there was comments as to if there was gas there in PEDL 234 .

Within the PEDL 234 licence there is also a gas discovery at Godley Bridge which I believe may be for development as one of the 2 UKOG sites for next year.

It may also be possible that HHDL decided not to appraise the clays & KL 1 & 2 after looking at the core samples after drilling HH1 which may suggest that the oil has migrated from the lower levels.

It would be interesting to know if the significance of the gas produced with the oil at HH could indicate gas reserves in the layers under the oil layers.

Will this be in the CPR when it is published?

I was not sure if having completed the work program & put in for planning & grained approval as per scoping document for 20 years production, gained EA approval the OGA would be the authority to move UKOG into level 3 PEDL as I am sure the can not start production without OGA approval.

I am also not sure if after gaining the production licence on the Portland, KL 3&4 they would need to gain further permits to appraise & test KL1 , 2 & the Kimmeridge clays or if they can test them as part of the production licence.

It may be that they want to see the results from Brockham before moving forward.

The CPR' s will always be the controlling documents for the markets but should KL3 & KL4 be deemed commercial before the full CPR is released I am sure the market will react as the Kimmeridge being commercial is not factored into the share price as stated by SS.

Thanks for your very informative reply & leaves a question as to if the OGA have granted PEDL level 2 for HH until I think 2021 if UKOG will need to appraise & test KL1 ,2 & Kimmeridge clays in that time before being granted a full level 3 production licence for 20 years?

I hope it does flow as I believe it will help UKOG in going back to PEDL 234 with it's new sites & return to sort out BB

My thoughts about what may or may not be possible is restricted as I have a lack of technical knowledge.

My brain storming queries the possibility of six wells with sidetracks & water injection at different depths of the layers Portland & Kimmeridge producing in a optimised rotation to allow pressure build up & replenishment.

If it is possible what BOPD could be achieved?

Do you know if Angus will test KL1, 2, 3, 4, & the Kimmeridge clays all as separate layers or will it all be produced together?

As far as I remember the pump was used initially to clear the kill fluid, then the well came on very quickly & free flowed.

I think that the comment by SS was that they may not do a max flow rate test as it may be better not to risk damaging the well.

There were pictures on Twitter showing initial flow rates of 550 BOPD & 850 BOPD.

If the same criteria to declare the well commercial is used as the Portland we know more oil has been extracted so the oil in place & it's connectivity would be the key is that right?
