But DQE/ JV deal make sense because of Synergy not just with Heron but China market logist & need.

DQE/PC feal not only Fast Track FULL FIELD development at Heron but also New Blocks - This was basis of Meeting 2 week ago between Mongolia President and Head of CNPC (DQE/PC Parent Company).

This deal protect China oil supply independent of Russia & Fast track Mongolia Domestic supply for Refinery.

Petroleum Law have condition that Refinery take priority for Domestic Feedstock - Fast Track Development mean China can protect EXCESS (From PC Block 19 g 21 and Petro Matad Block 20) for China domestic use.

Also reason why New Block with potential Multi-Billion bbl reserves (and News due this Q4) look to JV with CNPC.
