Both China & Russia are stockpiling gold in favour of Dollars, South African mine anyone...??? http://russia-insider.com/en/its-happening-russia-china-dump-us-treasuries-buy-all-gold-they-can-get/ri18875
Good luck to us all!!! Lets hope the BOD have a robust plan to finally create some shareholder value.
Totally agree Gibbo, from the tit bits of info the BOD have released since the strike, we appear to be surviving without further loans, even if it is hand to mouth, whether the situation changes once the concentrator circuit comes on stream and more revenue is generated quicker remains to be seem. However, I'm growing concerned that BOD are keeping us in the dark and seem determined to keep trading suspended for as long as possible..... I need 1p/share to break even on my recent purchases, however, I need 7.5p/share to break even on my original purchases, that includes averaging down a number of times..... with your $30 million estimate I have a chance of making something *IF* the BOD look after their extremely patient shareholders......
Gibbo1066, Any figures will be most welcomed... thus we can at least gauge what the processing plant is generating. I'd especially like to see what the loan / equity issue money has been spent on and what debts have been paid down. Plus an update on recovering the Puno Court awards inc legal costs
Will they / won't they publish the interim results as announced, including the much awaited processing data.....
Agreed. Most of us would have used it as a chance to average down, but would of enough PI's have thrown more money at it?? However, using Bergen has done nothing but send the shareprice in a downward spiral, to the point where there's sufficient value left to utilize the outstanding funds still available via Bergen.
I suspect that's why options for additional funding are extremely limited, as no one wants to throw more good money after bad. Hence, why they were forced to use the likes of Bergen to stay afloat, even Bergen didn't hold CRND's shares for any length of time after being allotted....... I really hope we are pleasantly surprised, but I just can't see it after recent events with the water level cock-up and the half arsed RNS recently released.....
I reckon they'll go right to the wire..... interim results and a funding announcement on Friday 29th Sept
6 working days left of September (last years Interims were released 28th Sept) Water level @ 17th Sept was 168.38 MBS - (I'm sure we've been there before.......) A miracle for CRND would be nice, but past history consistently points to PI's being ignored and hung out to dry.....
Is there anything PI's can do? To at least be kept informed / brought up to date as regards CRND's financial standing before any dilution or asett sale can take place. Will any transaction need to put to shareholders to vote? I wish a large miner with sufficent funding would just come in with a takeover offer for the lot and scupper any plots being cooked up in the backgorund
Exactly! Some of the loan funds was being used to pay for the Concentrator Circuit so we were originally led to believe, so although debt was being increase / as were CRND asetts. The strike caused a blip with throughput & revenues, however they have continued to trade for a further 4 months since the share suspension without any extra working capital being required (as far as we are aware!). The general flow of news had been positive, yet suddently TCTA have cocked-up water levels & the following day we get a negative RNS update from the directors. Seems really fishy to me, PI's are being lined & bent over ready to be shafted..... There are far too many unaswered questions: - Where & what has all the loan money been spent on? - What revenue / profit is being generated by the ore processing? - What is happening regarding recovering the Court Award & costs TBC from Puno? - What happend regarding the waterlevel? - What additional funds do CRND need & what for? - What debt was paid down with revneues from the ore processing? etc, etc.......
Glib, That was in relation to Puno withdrawing their winding up order for CRND. Seperate issue.
takechance1, Exactly! That was only part of the award. That's since also gone amazingly quiet............ Plus they were also awarded all Court Costs tbc (which over that many years could also amount to a sizeable award) Extract from RNS: Central Rand Gold wins dispute with Puno regarding funding call. · The Company's subsidiaries, CRGSA and CRGNV, awarded ZAR72,326,573 (approximately US$5,684,420). · The Company's subsidiaries, CRGSA and CRGNV, awarded all legal costs relating to the application, which is still to be determined as the Courts still need to tax the accounts. Why are the directors not pursuing collecting these Court Awards??? This would provide substantial working capital & would allow them to reduce debt.

Amazing how the financial position has gone from 'The Company's cash position still remains challenging' to 'the financial position of the Company nevertheless remains extremely serious' at the same time TCTA suddenly discover that their dipstick is in the wrong place & the mine water level is suddenly 40M higher overnight, you couldn't make this up......! Yet they were still confident enough of the future to agree a bonus scheme with miners for 6+ months in advance to end the strike. Not least that CRND appear to be deliberately withholding the release of any financial results and keeping PI's in the dark, whilst negotiations are on-going to set PI's for a fall!
Yes, that's what they said last time. I.e debts was being paid down suggesting the processing was generating a profit. Amazingly, the water levels are suddenly wrong & the tone RNS sounds more negative again in relation to companies financial position. No results / no share suspension lifted etc, etc
If they stall further to ensure CRND is delisted, will they be bound by even fewer regulatory controls?
Surprise! No more news than were already knew.... Definitely building in the background for a 'cute deal' for someone else to take control of CRND's assets, whilst PI's are left with nothing. Again! No mention of Puno court awards, no comment of Water Level Cock up's, still painting a negative picture.....
You just couldn't make this up...... Certainly looks like a TCTA cock-up
Gibbo, At what level below surface are the 32million oz reserves inclusive down to? With all the economic uncertainty & prospect of war in Korea, there's every chance gold will also continue to rise. Maybe closer to $1500/oz. There's definitely something going on in the background due to the lack of response to your emails. The failure to release annual results was also clearly aimed at delay tactic/to keep trading suspended. Let's hope that 'cute deal' doesn't happen, I won't be happy if this turns out to be another Noventa Mining..... Like others have said, I typically avoid AIM companies now.
