Thanks for the update Gibbo, fingers crossed it will be something positive. No news is hopefully good news, the company is still trading / debtors haven't called in the debts as yet. Staff should of had their Xmas bonuses as agreed etc. Happy New Year & good luck all CRND holders! Can we somehow come back from the dead??
CRND are doing the wrong kind of mining.... Just launch a Digital Coin Token / Blockchain & this is what happens to the share price. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/prices-and-markets/stocks/summary/company-summary-chart.html?fourWayKey=GB0006601479GBGBXASX1
Nope, sit, wait & pray that a miracle happens! The water level is still falling marginally even though SA is now in Rainy Season, the water level is just over 6M below that target level the BOD set to re-start underground mining. The problem is, although the gold is there, no one can extract it economically especially with such low gold prices. The only positive take I can currently see from the shambles, is that the company still appears to trading & hasn't yet gone in to administration.
Nice one Si, It will be interesting to see if the Concentrator Circuit is up and running & if it's likely to improve grades recovered etc. Presumably, nothing Simon could divulge will be price sensitive as they're de-listed / suspended.
I agree, I think the asset is worth far more than we're being offered by our creditors to someone with the funds to release it's true potential. Our creditors will soon offload it on to someone else for a large profit. I'm not sure on the prospect of gold hitting $5000/oz, we've had cheap money/low interest rates for years and it's near the lower end of the scale. Also, cryptocurrencies seem to be the forming the new gold rush.
Sorry forgot to add, the concentrator circuit should be up & running within in week if installation & commissioning is on course. However, with the grades recovered from the waste mine dumps, it may not perform as we'd hoped. Even the replacement AGM results for the Ordinary Resolutions still add up to more than 100%: https://www.sharenet.co.za/v3/sens_display.php?tdate=20171121122500&seq=36&scode=CRD I think we need a minor miracle!
Si, I agree, I don't think our Chinese friends have the funds to develop the underground mine either, hence where we're at and having to use Bergen / potentially issue a shed load of new shares to raise just 750k to stay afloat. I think as soon as our Chinese get their hands of CRND NV assets, they will offload it on to another party debt free at a profit. It needs someone with cash to throw at it / who knows what they are doing to release it's true potential. It's clear the processing business i.e. third party / processing mine dumps is more of a distraction & doesn't generate the turnover/profit it was intended to. As for the mine dump grades not being as expected, they clearly weren't very thorough in checking numerous samples before signing on the dotted line / agreeing a deal.
Gibbo, Any idea if the asset sale has been marketed beyond our Chinese friends? I'm surprised someone like Randgold Resources aren't interested, they could buy it for pocket change for them & have the funds to develop it and already operate in SA. Especially, now the infrastructure is in place to de-water the mine, the water level is still falling and now down to 172 MBS. It's a shame we have got the funds to re-commence under ground mining. Plus there's still been no mention of recovering the Puno award!
Gibbo has all their email addresses & has posted them on here previosly
Here's a link to the results: https://www.moneyweb.co.za/mny_sens/central-rand-gold-limited-results-of-annual-general-meeting-5/ I wonder if they remembered to include all votes?? Interestingly, the totals for each resolution exceed 100%
luddite, you may be better doing it the other way around i.e. try and find an online South African based broker that will deal with UK based customers & transfer your shares to them from your existing nominee account etc HTH.
I doubt you'll find any directors in Guernsey, they're now all independent & no doubt based in their own offices. You'd probably have more impact by turning up on site in South Africa! For starters, you can ensure that you use your AGM votes to voice your opinion.
Unfortunately, it's probably too late for our votes to make any distance to the outcome, but we've at least go to try! Even if just for the 'middle finger' salute!
Whilst they're still listed on the JSE, shareholders are still fairly well protected & could still sell if trading suspension is lifted on that exchange. If they de-list off JSE as well & take the company private (which the BOD suggest they may be plotting.....) that may result in them being bound by even fewer rules & leaves them to pretty much do what they want. The water level hasn't been updated for nearly a month either..... CRND AGM this Friday
Yes, 4 x MOU's where the board were trying to offload the CRND NV assets for $150 million & now our Chinese debtors & ex directors (Redstone) are now only valuing those assetts at $16.3 million. Yet they now come with a proven de-watering system, a much reduced water level, the acquired mine waste dumps and far more infrastructure including the concentrator circuit which was due to be up & running by Dec....... All that CRND shareholding have paid with consistent value damaging equity share issues. Looks like our debtors are now trying to takeover the assetts via the backdoor on the cheap by delisting..... interesting they're also de-listing before the date of the AGM on the 17th Nov
'The Board will continue to explore refinancing options which could include a pre-emptive offer to shareholders' Maybe our Chinese friends will put forward a better offer to shareholders to take over CRND's assets & leave us with some crumbs.... at least the heavy dilution for only 750k has been cancelled.
I hope everyone will be voting 'Against' electing Simon Charles / John Treacy & James Normand as directors of the company & 'Against' approving the directors Remuneration Report via Proxy for the AGM scheduled on 17th Nov!!! Voting forms here, for anyone who doesn't get one via their broker: http://crg-sa.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SA-and-UK-Shareholder-Proxy-Form3.pdf
The existing staff have a nice little Xmas bonus coming their way courtesy of CRND shareholders.....
Have we ever trusted anything we've been told??? The BOD never seem to struggle to find an excuse why the company with consistently poor performance / continued losses & continually destroying any shareholder value.... You watch, as soon as the Chinese get the CRND NV subsidiary complete with all assets & infrastructure, there'll be a miraculous turnaround in fortunes.
Doesn't look like it, they're still recruiting, 2 new positions added 4.10.17 http://www.centralrandgold.com/careers/current-vacancies/ Only the shares/shareholders wealth has folded...
