gdog,
Assuming someone is ignorant is ignorance itself. Subtly suggesting someone refrain from talking about other countries because of lack of knowledge is a mild form of bullying, that usually follows insecurity. One is not so clueless as to observe that the mob causing trouble did so with great ease, almost as if someone let it happen, and it was clearly incited from the top down.
I have a rule that seems to work for me. If I have something to say, I say it. I keep my mouth shut if I’m unsure, and not because someone is trying to shut me down. Citizens of one country who like to talk about what's going on in another country, in which they don't live, and do not know what's really going on, would be well served to observe how Americans have not ever practiced that notion. We certainly have had our share of interference from over the pond to say the least.
Why have Trump's British supporters gone so quiet?
Where's Nigel Farage?
The guy spent four years boasting about his relationship with the Donster, - who also pushed British politics from the sidelines.
Just two months ago little Farage called him:
“The most resilient and brave person” he had ever met.
America In my opinion is well rid of Trump. We wish you guys all the best, but America is the most politically interfering country on the planet.
