You're entitled to your opinion. Whatever, MacCall is likely to be here until at least 2026, - by which time ITV will be, IMO, Topps!

If you have such little confidence in the current leader you could always sell up and return post-2026. It would probably do you a world of good, but don't expect to re-enter at sub £1.

What have we got:
A green Economy rated business; a presence over the pond in Atlanta, Georgia where it operates Decluttr; a deal with US supermarket giant Walmart; a downturn in the economy focussing minds on belt-tightening, and second-hand phones and other gadgets being very much in vogue. We must be in the right arena, eh?

One can’t deny disappointment in the sp, after reasonably good results, but continued investment in media and entertainment is necessary if ITV are to survive. I believe McCall has bravely set about the job well. This will remain a long-term hold for me. I still strongly believe in McCall’s strategy and that it will show a significant upside over the next year or so. New deals continue to be pursued, and the BBC and ITV are close to finalising a deal to share broadcasting rights for the Women’s World Cup 2023, which will be a goldmine for securing high-profile ads. The future’s good, hang in there and good luck.

It’s possible, but, by the same token negative reports often have no substance. Recently, RR gave much better results than what was expected. For many months RR was slammed by some of the best investment brains out there, and the new CEO appeared to back the notion up weeks before results. Now RR are flying, relative to what they have been over the last three years. In my opinion ITV are moving in the right direction.

... but apparently some people do!

You could well be right bald_eagle, but there are a number of positives floating around at the moment. They can’t all be hype, can they?
We’ll soon find out.
