Hyper - There is so much stuff out there you don't need advice. It speaks for itself. DYOR and anyway in my experience advice usually comes from those with an axe to grind, that's what they are paid for.

Hope we don't see it drop below , I have often found that once comfortably through even with slow movers like POW retraces become very unlikely especially given the track record and slow steady climb of POW SP. (i.e. a sustained bull market) I see Zak the Magician was presenting at today's webinar or whatever you call it so perhaps he'll be putting a good word in for us, guaranteed to push us ahead. I guess he will come up with a target price of 4p end of Jan/mid Feb but that's conjecture. But his BB heroes always seem to be self fulfilling so that would be a welcome attraction to alot of punters who follow his chartist gobble de gook.

Its great being in a well managed company that has such a large spread of metals. Inevitable that some of them will come up trumps (sorry to have to use that swearword I hope it isn't blocked) given the rate at which work is proceeding on all projects.at the rate work is proceeding No let up with Power Metal just like the CEO.

Wressle and W Newton has to be in the current share price valuation with production costs coming in at under $18 but this is AIM we all have to just be patient

js -I prefer looking at interviews (not many viewings though which I find surprising) on a certain tube channel with Stockbox as I find them more 'meaty' just put in Stockbox Paul Johnson and take your pick. The old stuff is not dated and he is continuously updating them and getting on their email alerts helps alot. DYOR and its easy with this company and you'll know as much as we do. He was in Metal Tiger when I was in them prior to setting up POW and his track record there was second to none. Welcome aboard the more the merrier.

Simba - IMO 90% of these rumours are just what they are rumours. I don't take any notice of them and I advise others not to do so. There is no substitute for research and knowing your company inside out. Even then there are things that are well disguised and hidden from the punters in which case I rely on my personal opinions of the Board and the guy in charge. I could mention but won't of a certain AIIM company which is rocketing ahead and IMO will end in tears mainly because of the CEO's past track record of telling porkies.
You don't survive investing in AIM as long as I have unless you trust your own judgement and forget all the 'siren' voices who invariably are out to line their own pockets. Thing these days is that they are soon forgotten e.g. don't hear so much on these boards from the Sheriff of AIM with his bad mouthing abuse and a good thing too. Most are just passing 'wide-boys' who pretend they know everything when they know very little. They can't, given the wide range of companies they comment on.

If GGP can do it through retail investors then why can't we. Its the power of the punters and we both come from the same stable, MTR POW and GGP and similar investment strategy. This share is a winner through and through just be patient and wait for a major discovery to kick us through to the next stage. Meanwhile I shall keep drip-feeding my spare cash into this one, sit back and relax in the knowledge that our investment is being managed by professionals who have our interest at heart as well as their own. Its about time there were more AIM companies who treat small investors properly, not just placement fodder to fund their board's lavish lifestyles.

Only thing about all this carbon capture Heid is it depends on pumping CO2 into the Easington Gas reservoir. Its not that big and when it gets full up its not as though they can switch easily to other 'empty' reservoirs. What happens then. Is this all in abeyance until an efficient way to capture carbon from CO2 is developed or is that an awkward question, or is that a naive question? Or will some bright spark come up with a plan of fracturing wells to pump carbon dioxide into them? Are there any on this board who actually know the way real carbon capture is going to reduce it to its elements? Again is a that a naive question. Bit like burying spent uranium into the earth's crust in deep wells, still have to clear it up eventually

Been in an out of several of his picks in recent times mainly after short term gains but recently have settled on POW as others I feel are too high risk . As Alan says if only one or two of POW prospects come up trumps there is more upside than other 'one trick' ponies.

Perhaps I should have said 0.88p price target based on assets which of course vary depending on oil price which vary depending on current oil price. No calculation can be 100 percent accurate as variability of oil price and production life of the field is unknown. Seems as good an estimate as any other especially when compared to North Weald. Wytch Farm has made an excellent return over 40-50 years so why shouldn't W Newton and Wressle even allowing for declining N Sea revenues and BoJos unrealistic plans for zero emissions.

Its not a problem. assets are worth 0.88p according to SP Angel, if you believe what they say, so only thing stopping this share is sentiment against oil and gas. Joke is that the UK will be on its uppers very soon and tax revenue from any source will be welcome. Fundamentals of $17.6 production costs can't be ignored especially when compared with offshore. Unless oil prices fall to the $20s again then onshore will be particularly profitable and anyone who believes that hydrogen or EVs will replace petrol in the near term is fooling themselves. Unfortunately the AIM market is full of sheep and lemmings who just go with what happens to be in vogue at the time (I do if there's money to be made) and pay way overvalued share prices based on hype. UJO is not one of them and has a very solid base and indisputable fundamentals.
