LL if anything ide say your take on the matter is short sighted, why would a company pay for serious allegations that are untrue? And why entertain a local government shakedown? If they were successful you set a precedence and they will come again with a bigger allegation with a past experience of Thor admitting liability and paying.

They are doing the right thing, dismiss the allegations, support it with facts and crack on as planned

Whilst I tend to agree that companies look to pull back on expenditures, I don’t see expenditure like trust being in that. Trust isn’t only a mechanism for approving service quality of products offered by eccomerce services but also regulated service based sectors like insurance where trust testimonials can help show adherence to fca regulation like treating customers fairly principles and so forth.

We may see a slowing of growth as online sales slow but the macro environment is on the turn and last years growth was very good in a harder environment. DYOR but I am bullish and intend to top slice my holding at around 290p as my average sits around 120p

I’m in this long term and have been in since 110p so todays drop doesn’t phase me, just annoys me that they decide to sell up large stakes at the worst time, they did it when it went on a run on results previously. I feel that’s why it dropped on the last trading update as markets thought they would do the same thing if it ran up, then when it ran back up to 235 they did the same.

Hopefully it doesn’t go quite as far back based on they have now reinstated a divi all be it crap and are bullish about the future. I feel it may just be the ceo throwing a paddy as he felt he could turn the ship around, I think this would have done a lot better with Ageas steer personally, but that’s my opinion. I have been a long term holder here

Curious how you got these prices of 30p/£1

I have been in and out of this share alot over the years and the dilution through raising capital has surely effected the potential of those numbers. The number of shares that had to be distributed at the recent low to get the funds they required for example. I have recently bought back in after buying after the last raise and cashing out low 2's. I do see this share going higher but I would like to understand how you have reached the 30p and £1 at production milestones?

I took Amazon’s entry with a pinch of salt, google tried to break into the pcw space years ago and failed, the amount of red tape and contracts they have to build up to make a viable panel is vast, they would have been better off buying out a company like quotezone and building off that in a similar way to GoCompare buying energylinx to absorb all of the energy relationships

Just to highlight another reason why I think Jeffries is wrong .. future plc owner of GoCompare on the 7th of Feb gave their Q 1 update which is moneysupermarkets Q4, they highlighted how strong Q4 was, and money supermarkets share of revenue historically when looking at GoCompares a pre takeover results, MONY has had greater market share

I’ll be honest, I’ve done the exact same and quite literally put all my eggs here. Other than a struggle with their money products due to the macro environment or an overly cautious view of H2 24 pulling back to the norm, I’m finding it hard to think of anything poor that could crop up.

Hopefully not to premature but I am expecting Q4 to have been decent based on what the insurance market has looked like in terms of volume with a price comparison have no risk tied to claims inflation for the insurance element. Hopefully paired with a strong forward looking statement for insurance and a twinkle of hope for energy returning. MONY also live a special dividend so who knows we may get a nice reward April based on a strong Q1 and return to energy.

Not sure if anyone has highlighted this but NSF are in talks woth the FCA over redress methodology and are suggesting an 80m raise, will be around 8:1 with their 12m market cap.
The FCA will likley now have proposed simular to amigo of others in the sector are willing to shaft shareholders.
I don't have a crystal ball but this obviously doesn't look great guys. If your planning an entry please DYOR.

I have the same thoughts Andreev. I don't quite thing 15p but i think it will fluctuate between 17.5p and 27p. Good long term share for the portfolio IMO.

Whats everyone's thoughts on the price being held lower to make dilution look like less of an obviousy choice to further fund the scheme?

BP - creditors are given the right to vote during the creditors meeting on Wednesday so I doubt the results will be posted tomorrow
