Sorry Noel but I do not consider Mali and Nigeria a like for like comparison other than the fact they are both on the same continent. Nigeria is a much bigger and further developed economy and are actively trying to encourage more investment in this space, not grab cash from the only gold line there. To the person asking about risk, do a calc on how much they are going to be making over the next 12 months and even use a conservative gold value. Key thing is that they are debt free now so all of that money will be held as cash to advance an even bigger mine with no dilution and as Segun has already said, return money to share holders through divi and buybacks.

Just of the nigeria risk .. the update on the state claim sounded very bullish and if the federal government side with them that will massively reduce the risk going forward IMO. From the RNS wording it sounds like the report will likely highlight some environmental points hence their premature update to their CSR policy, which will also benefit the state from assisting investment in local infrastructure. The fed will also want THX to continue to develop the lithium.

I got in early enough to say to me i see zero risk here to my capital, I am bullish and had a target of 28p before gold went crazy.
