Need to pass you a thanks too Shakey. Last year around March you terrified the living daylights out of me with your believe in what Covid is as going to do to the planet. As a result I bought some physical gold / silver and some crypto, it was the best thing I ever done. So many thanks again as it rectified the damage SDX done to my savings and pension. I owe you a barrel full of pints. Many thanks and hope this gives you what you want out of it :)
Shakey, very handy tool for my line of work and usually of interest to others.

Great of highlighting where out electricity actually comes from. Btw, gas is approx 0.19kg/kW CO2 with no Hydrogen mix.
I will stop boring you now.
Times are changing and with the likes of Bill Gates "Terra Power" who knows what the world will look like in 20 years time.
Working on a new housing estate atm, houses with be electric panel radiators for heating, PV with 12kW battery storage with hot water via an air source heat pump taking its air supply from the attic. All ok in a new super airtight, highly insulated build, but try that with my 1960's house at 14p/kW electricity when gas is still 3p/kW, but again the everyday Joe believes these technologies can be rolled out on our existing housing stock... Its driving me nuts!!! Sorry.... Monday rant over :)
Sorry Shakey, my point is not on gas demand, but the "common mans" interest in gas stocks. They are now more interested in throwing money at massively over valued Tesla! Cos its da future! People seem to believe gas is going away, but nobody talks about the mixing of Hydrogen into our gas supplies thus reducing the Co2 emissions per kW. All gas burning appliances can handle 20% hydrogen atm, with the aim of 50%, which makes it a very long term option. Gas is not going away, unfortunately the everyday Joe seems to think so, and believe me it is making my job more and more difficult by the day.
I totally agree but it is a battle we have with clients on a daily basis. They are brainwashed by the media and the Greta Brigade. Some of our clients are now refusing to have gas within their proposed commercial buildings from fear of the gas supply being removed within the next 10 years. When we question their thinking they have no response other than "The government say we are going Electric". The (now late) revisions to Building Reg's Part L2b will dictate which direction the UK takes. Hopefully there will be some people with some sense on the panel and make it too difficult to get a gas build through Building Regs. We will see.
