I think this will be a mixed day based on these results. If JB announces that the 1% sales will stop due to Board changes then can see this shooting up.
My gut says the provisions we're above market expectations however, there is more enough cash to cover this

Complaints cost of £126.8m and complaints provision of £117.5m as at 31 March 2020 driven by an increase in complaints volumes (complaints cost 2019: £0.1m; complaints provision 2019: £nil).

I agree, this seems to be have been dragged down by the overall market potentially even sentiment due to Boohoo news.
The fundamentals in this company are signicantly better than current market valuation and management seem to be making the right decisions.
In my opinion this will increase to £1+, unlikely to do it overnight/during pandemic but a strong chance in the next few years. I'm holding on until dividend returns as believe this will drive the share price forward.
Hope it starts to push on sooner though and out of the mid 30s bracket, we don't know how long it's going to remain at this cheap price for.

I personally added for the third time in morning of result being released and am surprised it's dropped since which seems due to market sentiment rather than the results themselves which I saw as positive. Would've have been much happier if I had waited but believe this will continue climbing in the long run as management seem focussed on the right things.
When there is a sniff of a dividend returning demand will be very high to buy in.

The key metric for me is Adjusted EPS, this has dropped from 21p to 16p from last year. FY19 results appear to have been released on 31-May-19 when share price was 145p (6 times Adjusted EPS), using the same multiple we'd expect a share price of 96p. I appreciate more uncertainty now but a multiple of 3 is a bargain!

I'd like to see some Director buys when they are able to to demonstrate their confidence.

Just a shame they don't provide forecast profit for FY21. I think it's a good update, proves plenty of headroom in net debt facilities and the fact it's coming down.
Also sales have been picking up and they were cash generative in Q1 (extremely tough conditions).
I think shares will jump up to over 50p but maybe would have been more if forecast provided.

Investshare_101, I agree with some of the things you say. I currently own shares here and see it as a punt, high risk / hopefully higher return as part of mixed portfolio. I hope we all do well in the long run.
I think you need to calm it down or sell some shares sounds like you're in too deep by how much time you spend filling this chat with constantly barely legible messages with same info. Your messages are highly unlikely to influence anyone to buy or sell.

Price is up for the day as I write this, I guess we'll wait and see if the sale materialises / further announcement.

I've used this opportunity to top-up again, I'm expecting the share to rocket when results are announced if there is no unexpected bad news.

I'm with AJ Bell and just sent them a message and they confirmed it would be passed to the Corporate Actions team.

I disagree as well, I'm existing holder and topping up now as think this is still a great price.

I don't understand why the market values this at such a low price. I appreciate there is a lot of debt and dividends are unlikely in FY21 but they are forecasting profits (and generating cash). It seeems like the BoD are making the required changes to improve results / mitigate any negative impacts of COVID.
I'm in at an average of just under 23p and very happy with that price.

The Group's audit is being conducted on an entirely remote basis and N Brown currently expects to release its results for the year ended 29th February 2020 in mid to end June 2020. A further announcement will be made in due course.

I agree, also we're all going to be fat after lockdown so will need clothing up to 5XL thats available at Jackamo!!

I've been buying shares in BWNG this week, having researched I don't understand why the valuation is so low. They generated profit exc exceptionals over the past few years over the latest valuation. They appear to have enough cash / credit facilities to keep going for the short term and would expect to be less affected by CV19 than the high street due to online presence.
What are others thoughts on the future? I guess we'll see when FY20 results are released.

I've been reading posts on here for a few months. I bought in at just under 60 and got cold feet on Friday and sold all at a small profit. There was a lot of volatility and was 50% down very quickly after investing.
I believe in the company medium/long term and appreciate all the comments but I'm hoping to get back in at lower price as this share has very large ranges on a day to day basis so hoping this will be possible.
Fully appreciate I may miss out but good luck all!
