http://af.reuters.com/article/drcNews/idAFLDE6850Y520100906. Must be worth a grumble! Now i'm a speck of dust compared to planet ENRC but the principle's the same i.e. if I buy any kit for my business I make sure it's legit and from a reputable dealer; seems ENRC don't operate that way! Chickens coming home to roost now and I can't believe a FTSE 100 stalwart such as this didn't anticipate difficulties/ corruption and run a mile. Easy to be wise after the event I know, but you'd have thought these guys should have the savvy and salaries to know better. A miracle happens and they manage to extricate themselves from the deal,AND placate FQM, the shareprice could rise but I ain't holding my breath- all IMHO of course! Hope I'm wrong as I'm holding shedloads. Usually cheerful so glad self opinionated rant is over. ATB to you and fellow angst addicts!
Congo acquisition could be acting like a deadweight; apparently London's investor community are spitting the well-sucked dummy out and asserting that ENRC are 'uninvestable' and that their purchase of mining assets inc. Kolwezi project is akin to 'buying stolen goods off a corrupt government.' FQM, bless 'em, are the injured party and they read like they have buckets of mucho, macho clout, so expect fun and frolics and plenty of desirable/ damaging publicity for our lovable Kazakh colossus....luck and nerve to all from Wensleydale!

half- yearly report, 'Democratic'(!) acquisition and still she nose dives. After my lofty pronouncements this has done nothing but disappoint - maybe I'm directly responsible.... 2 months 'respite' holiday now, market free, hoping for better on return....keeping the faith and wishing luck to all fellow travellers.
http://www.automatedtrader.net/real-time-dow-jones/12726/eurasian-natural-res-acquisition. Nerve jangling stuff earlier. Bought more for 8.70 this a.m. but can't afford to follow it any lower and sacrifice holidays, kids' treats, sanity etc.. C'mon you Kazakhs!
buys recently. That old chestnut 'someone knows something' springs to mind, however could be random.Bit like life itself, know what I mean....
was all that about?Hugs 165 ALL day then 2 price monitoring extensions and up she goes. Oh, and that creepy little 2 share buy again after time. Mystified...
this a.m. what with this weakening,ENRC dropping, and general outlook i.e. double dip, USA jobless etc. Back from coal face and it's not too bowel-loosening. Decent recovery here;seems it rose on that 4.19 buy - sensitive. ENRC framing so not exactly Cheshire cat grin, more hint of upward curved mouth. Luck to all..
in Exillon land ! LSE can't even be bothered to update price. Bought in @ 170 and since then it's hardly moved. No probs as charts show that this falls asleep for days. Real sharedealing backwater, however echoing savi - bags of promise.GLA
you do the right thing, bigted. Lunchtime I'd planned a hundred daft ways of spending profits, only for an afternoon slide and drag back to reality. Should be only temporary, but who knows? Personally, i'm confident with this and as you say, China (and an emerging India) will be rapping at the door. As loaded says, a 4 figure share. Hope this has been a ramp/deramp free message! GLA
economic output to grow 9% this year and resulting soaring demand for iron ore (FT),it's looking good for this 'dark horse' of the mining giants. Another reet champion day.
http://www.stockmarketsreview.com/recommendations/eurasian_natural_resources_report_q2_production_report_20100804_28395/ - on a moderate day for miners , these results have lifted ENRC.
entry point? Could dip further, although no debt, revenues up, cash reserves.
help lift this...http://www.metalbulletin.com/Article/2635353/Iron/Bamin-will-invest-1.8-billion-to-bring-iron-ore-project-on-stream.html
with these today after buying early on at 998. Reacted by doubling my holding last thing. Inspired or a fool, double dip or boom, time will tell ! GL to all holders
