Here's an investment trust imaginatively investing mainly in investment trusts, which is a spreading of risk twice over. In here a couple of years now and am delighted with the steady rise and generous quarterly dividends (2.15p per share divi just announced) - carry on C/T but dyor, imho etc

Ok, a plodding share price but over the years I've been delighted with the quarterly 5 to 6% dividend - another one just popped in this morning...each to their own though. GL all.

In the usual biannual post divi doldrums here; a secure 5% plus is nowt to be sniffed at though, and who knows what's in the pipeline to shift this over the 10 quid mark. Anyway, that last bit's pure wishful thinking and not fact but what fun to dream - plenty of those as this stock gives no sleepless nights. GL holders, spectators

All looks good on that very reassuring rns. Increase to an already generous dividend a huge plus....glad I kept my nerve when sub£7; let's see how the fickle market reacts though. GL holders, spectators

Strong set of results today has barely tickled the share price; maybe a gradual rise over coming months? Love that yield. Gl all

DTH - Rns re earnings due a week tomorrow GL

My sensible investment in dull as ditchwater POLN has morphed into a bit of a white knuckle ride. Green day would be a relief, bring on that rns. GL out there.

Spread makes this not the best trading prospect; also it's bumbling along in the 850 - 900 range so I'm not really selling it well, eh? However, it's a safe, long term AIM holding for me, (4 years now, where's that gone?), paying a respectable 6% dividend with an occasional 'special' thrown in, which brings a smile. GL, happy trails...

Hmm, not too bad for an ex divi day.

Have we finished languishing around in the mid 5 to 6 quid zone? Shifting to residential seems to be that shot in the arm, but let's wait and see, eh? Gl all

A bumper pay out of 1.3p plus per share at the end of this month; over the years, this has proved to be a marvellous investment - one of my better decisions! GLA

An extremely exciting day in RECI land; never thought that would be possible. This has been a real plodding stalwart for me over the years and, despite the dip in share price, has faithfully paid a humongous divi. That report looks solid, even upbeat, so that's a LTH for me, although DYOR etc. Looks well chosen trek, let's see, eh? GL all.

Back to my buy in price which could have been mega frustrating, however there have been several juicy dividends since then, as well as a generous 'special', so it's been a decent investment. Expanding through increased investment into infrastructure and tech, along with a forecast of an increasing divi keeps me hooked although dyor, imho etc.

I was prepared to pay cash for my new car but was offered a finance deal via CBG by my local dealership which suited me down to the ground. It was clearly explained by the salesman and enabled me to preserve other investments. Can't understand why I may be entitled to compo, funny old world, won't be claiming. Gl all.

I hold these in my stocks and shares isa. The last PID divi was paid on 30/7/24 minus 20% for tax, so do I claim that back through my broker, hsbc, or sort it out on next year's tax return? Scratching my head over this so thanks for any advice.
