Funnily enough was looking at those last week...a couple of hours after blowing my budget on HCFT, where I am currently Billy no mates (first and only poster, begad!) - must be THE most obscure share; love it! Yeah, summer's my busy time so any share which can look after itself and now and then smuggle a 6%+ divi into the a/c is the absolute dog's thingies. SLI on radar - thanks. ATB
scary pedant
a time to sneak this out! All seems hunky dory here: http://www.investegate.co.uk/baronsmead-vct-plc--bdv-/prn/half-yearly-report/20130517164908PC2F1/ Staffline excell!
dok...quiet one for sure. Loco2 looks particularly good, and as for payasUgym (name change please?), intriguing stuff, although i'm more swearasUtrade... Seems there's a steady hand on the tiller - million miles from rock n' roll oilies/ miners. Stealthy kind of progress suits me as i'm trying for an incredibly boring, divi heavy portfolio(Divi here?..you never know!) Ah, life in the fast lane. BW
up on a no frills rns: http://www.investegate.co.uk/f--38-c-com-pty-tst-ltd--fcpt-/rns/interim-management-statement/201305171100269997E/ Sleep easy over the weekend with this.
rns, and i particularly like the fact that they've taken equity profits to fund property buying; measured tactics IMVHO, DYOR etc. http://www.4-traders.com/HIGHCROFT-INVESTMENTS-PLC-4002019/news/Highcroft-Investments-plc-Interim-Management-Statement-16868999/
and happy with profits, although sky could be the limit here. Now where? Dairy - congrats on the staying power; been a long haul.
she blows...China loves ya! What a great day...
funding of 250,000k on payasUgym; not frightened of spending money you little beaut....go get 'em envestors! http://www.iii.co.uk/markets/?type=aimnews&articleid=8973670&action=article
a good spring for IND - chairman expecting 'a record year for sales.' Think full results announced in september...can't wait! GL
1000 of these to a 'sleeper' portfolio and stuck them up in the loft - no debt, micromanaged outfit with generous dividends...let's see what happens through the months/years. GL out there.
appear to be that the sky's the limit...http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/detail?code=cotn:IDH.L&display=news&action=article&articleid=8959785&from=rss. Finally in the money.
Thanks for that - they all look tempting, especially UKCM...just love those frequent divis! Had enough fun and games with flash in the pan oilies etc, looking for calmer waters of FTSE 350, financials, trusts etc..and 'off the beaten track' companies. High hopes for BDV which pays ginormously, twice a year, although boring as h***. Middle aged me loves that! ATB
one of my steadiest investments, this. Optimhttp://www.mideasttime.com/fc-commercial-property-trust-limited-pt-raised-to-2-05-fcpt/8787/ism; but never mind that - this pays a hefty dividend....MONTHLY! Drinks all round... BW out there.
wishful thinking Dok and should have added IMVHO, however, precedent set for me by both QYM and PPR, both delivered, with tiny share issue and previously 'off radar' status. Promising rns this morning; http://www.investegate.co.uk/braveheart-inv-group--brh-/rns/envestors-leads-comparafinanza-fundraising/201304220700108162C/ .- Italian price comparison website..bit of a dark horse, that one. One moan; shame these appeared to be 'walked down' over a month ago to accommodate a couple of larger buys...please play by the rules, chaps! ATB
in the madness of this huuuuge spread; tiny issue of shares means that any solid profit/ contract news will send this stratospheric...spread goes tata! Hope you ok dok and not struggling with gold/ mining stuff- GLEN has me tearing hair out at the mo'...what a life! ATB
of earlier, larger buys are all part of a mad scramble for these today. Healthy rise ATM. Send us some good news Indi !
random is aim world? No disastrous news, in fact no news at all and down she goes. Well dok, don't want to sound cynical, but there seems to be bags of 'covert' machinations behind markets these days. Either that, or I'm losing my touch.....Would have averaged down here (buy for 11.2) but resisted; have decided to reduce exposure re equities ie sell on any slight gain (hope), and gradually whittle portfolio down to a couple of boring, divi heavy plodders, PEW and BDV. Will hold this goody for possible fruition, but playing on this far from level playing field is eroding trust and killing me old knees! Had a good, profitable 8 yrs at this game, time to wind down.
