And, Chess, if Trump walks away the relationship with Russia will still grow and they will do business anyway. The reason Trump would walk away (which is incredibly unlikely) is because Zelensky/EU dont play ball, he has no beef with Putin and its the little green man and his pepper masters in the EU that are stopping peace.

When folk understand that the EU need this war to continue and the reasons why, maybe then they will understand the reason the EU are panicking and trying so desperately to keep it going.

No pal, a stalemate is when there is no land lost or gained over time, you have just contradicted yourself by stating that Russia are in fact taking land. The rate of land gain is dependent on the rate at which the side winning decides to take it. Russia's economy is no doubt feeling the war effort, wars are expensive, however they are gaining land, Ukraine are losing land and are unable after over 3 years and the "might" of the EU/NATO to take ANY of that land back. There is no funding, how is that a stalemate?

How have they not lost? They have lost 20% of their land, are losing more as tine goes by, not gaining any back, don't have enough military personnel or arms, have no momey to fund the war and have major corruption throughout their unelected government. If thats winning I'm not sure what losing is.

No, see thats where you are either wrong or deliberately trying to twist the narrative. I have absolutely zero issue with leader protecting their countries, I would fully expect the same for the UK. The problem comes WHEN YOU HAVE LOST, there comes a time when you have to stop and accept you are not getting it back and accept that its better to keep what you have than lose mlre of what you have left. As I said before, it may be right, it may be wrong but thats not the reality.

SteJ, please give me a sensible solution for Ukraine and please don't say "Russia can leave Ukraine" because that simply isn't going to happen, I think you will conclude that the only way to stop the loss of life and land is to accept Russian demands and maybe, just maybe manage to negotiate the fine details around the main Russian requests.

Why exactly would Putin restart/continue the war if Zelensky accepts the terms?

On one hand people say Russia is broke and cannot afford to carry on the war, next people say "he isn't going to stop until he takes the whole of Ukraine and Europe".

Despite what people say, Putin didnt want this war, it was the EU that wanted AND needed it.
